Unbreakable (UPDATES)

From no documents, no sources, no names and no evidence to this week’s fourth accuser provided via team Democrat hack lawyer Gloria Allred. A week of the first attempted smears have failed, so now the Democrat machine joins in the attempt to break the, dare I so boldly say, unbreakable. However, perhaps they had everything to do with it from the onset.  Allow me to elaborate on the credibility, or lack thereof, involving a few of these women…

‘Chicago’ Accuser #4

A 'gold digger' embroiled in legal and financial difficulties who has always lived above her station and will do anything to never have to work again.

This is the portrait that has started to emerge of the fourth woman to accuse Herman Cain of sexual harassment - the first to come out publicly.

Though her lawyer Gloria Allred painted a respectable and prestigious education and employment history for Sharon Bialek, 50, just a day later it has been revealed that she has not held a job for more than two years and has filed for bankruptcy twice.

…a friend of Ms Bialek, from Chicago, told the New York Post: 'She has a very infectious personality. It’s easy to see how she won [Cain] over. But the reality of her situation is -- she’s a complete gold digger. It’s all about the money.'

Adding that she was from a middle-income family but lives in a posh house while running from bill collectors, the source said: 'Most of her jobs ended in termination. It’s always the employer’s fault, not hers.

'This is a lady who lives off the system. She is hellbent on finding a way of never having to work and living the lifestyle she wants to live, a very affluent lifestyle.'

Details of a number of legal and financial difficulties have since emerged, with the Chicago Tribune listing a long history with tax evasion and late or missed credit card payments.

Here’s more, via DividedStates, questioning if this accuser was actually paid to lie about sexual harassment against Herman Cain:

Who could turn down $5M+ put in an offshore bank account in exchange for lying about sexual advancements made by Herman Cain? Sharon Bialek, who seems more likely a Liberal from Chicago with powerhouse celebrity lawyer and liberal activist Gloria Allred in her corner as opposed to the Tea Party supporter she claims to be. Many believe Bialek a paid agent of the Obama campaign. Now Bialek is being accused of making false accusations of sexual harassment against Herman Cain. Bialek’s claims against Cain may begin becoming unglued if an independent private investigator, who wishes to remain anonymous at this time, provides evidence showing Bialek is being paid to lie in order to derail Herman Cain’s presidential campaign. A Spokesperson representing the PI firm claims that Democrat operatives are out to destroy Cain who is seen as a threat to Obama’s reelection. The source also confirms they have evidence that the Democrat party plans to launch a similar smear campaign against Mitt Romney when the time is right. After hearing her statement read today at a news conference with Gloria Allred by her side, many felt Bialek’s story seems as if she was telling it (or reading it from her prepared statement) for the very first time.

I’d also note it’s worth listening to Levin poke holes throughout this woman’s story...


...as well as CBS Chicago news anchor Bill Kurtis's local account of this woman...extremely telling!  More credence is given to his account that perhaps the roles were actually reversed by a report that Bialek was fired from the National Restaurant Association for...drum roll, please...false accusations of sexual harassment!

‘Ridiculous’ Accuser #5

Another woman, Donna Donella of Arlington, Virginia who is a former USAID worker, is the next female to suggest that GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain may have behaved awkwardly inappropriate regarding a female.

Donella claims that a woman asked Cain a question during a speech in Egypt in 2002, and after the speech, Cain asked Donella to arrange a dinner with the woman so that he could further discuss the question with the woman.

Donnela claims she believed Cain’s motives for meeting the woman were suspicious in nature, and she did not set up the dinner. When the dinner was not arranged, Donella claims that Cain said: “Then you and I can have dinner.”

Donella also believed Cain’s intensions in wanting to have dinner with her were suspicious in nature, and she says that co-workers suggested a group of people go out to dinner instead. At the group dinner, this fifth and latest Cain-basher admits that she didn’t witness any inappropriate behaviors including sexual harassment.

‘Obama Administration’ Accuser #1?

Herman Cain claims sexual harassment accusations threatening to derail his presidential campaign are a smear campaign. But friends and family of one accuser say she is a principled and dedicated professional who was only trying to right a wrong no woman should suffer in the workplace.

Karen Kraushaar currently serves as a communications director at the Inspector General’s Office of the Treasury Department, a position she has held since last year. She did not return phone messages left by The Daily.

Kraushaar, who lives in Maryland, has no desire to speak publicly about the complaint she filed against Cain, letting her superiors know “about a series of inappropriate behaviors and unwanted advances from the CEO,” her attorney, Joel Bennett, said recently.

“Those complaints were resolved in an agreement with her acceptance of a monetary settlement,” Bennett said. “She and her husband see no value in revisiting this matter now, nor in discussing this matter further, publicly or privately…”

Catching all this, folks?! Appears as though the Democrat Party has more to do with this than whomever may have initially leaked last week’s allegations.

However, despite the nonstop assault on the character of Herman Cain, a new USA Today/Gallup poll that has previously had Cain slightly trailing Romney, now shows that he’s tied with the GOP’s establishment candidate. Oh, are Billy Kristol, Karl Rove and perhaps even Brit Hume and Chris Wallace, gnashing their teeth! Add that to the home run that Cain hit on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night, and I’m certain their heads are spinning:







Circling back around to the current firestorm, the Allred/Bialek claims, I thought this might provide an adequate conclusion to this post, as well as an appropriate preview to Cain’s press conference later this afternoon. Here’s an astute observation from Jacob Heilbrunn at the National Interest blog:

Herman Cain has found his Paula Jones. In a normal election year, Cain would be finished. But this isn't a normal election. Cain isn't going anywhere, though Mitt Romney is surely gloating over the spate of accusations that his rival is trying to fend off.

Cain's poll numbers don't seem to be sinking. On the contrary, they're holding steady. He's still a leader of the pack, whether the GOP establishment likes it or not. Cain has several advantages over his competitors. The first advantage is that he knows how to speak fluently. Most of his rivals do not. Romney is scripted. Cain, by contrast, can speak with genuine passion, which is why his followers are so passionate about him. Another advantage is the one pointed to by the Atlantic, which says that Cain is a fund-raising "dynamo." His resources, if he finishes strong in Iowa, could allow him to plague Romney for the long haul. Maybe he will even come in first in Iowa. Given the volatile temperament of the electorate, almost no outcome is too outlandish to consider.

At his press conference this afternoon, Cain is sure to come out with guns blazing. This could be his "Checkers" moment, his chance to show that he's being maligned and misunderstood. Bialek will probably not be enough to stop the former pizza magnate from Godfather's. The accusations may only strengthen his determination to become the new godfather of the GOP.

UPDATE II: On Wednesday, Ann Coulter documented an investigative report (because the media won't) that blew the roof off of this Democrat smear job, linking the allegations, and Bialek herself, directly to the m.o. of Chicago's Daley machine and Obama's "hired muscle," David Axelrod.
