$203B in one month!

Did you know?  Probably not.  While the media-led witch hunt of Herman Cain rolls on, the mainstream media is missing out on some critically stark news stories out there.  Last night we discovered, via CNSNews, that the national debt increased by $203B in just the month of October on every man, woman and child in America!

The federal government’s debt increased by $203,368,715,583.63 in the month of October, according to the U.S. Treasury.

That equals about $650 per person for each of the 312,542,760 people the Census Bureau now estimates live in the United States.

At the end of September, the total national debt stood at $14,790,340,328,557.15, according to the Bureau of the Public Debt. By the end of October, it had risen to $14,993,709,044,140.78.

Of course, part of the increase is likely due to the bad economy; however, couldn't it be said that the destructive policies of the Obama Administration play a key role in that? Yes, it most certainly could. And speaking of those, the spending spree of this president's policies continue to roll on despite the weakened economy.  Just take for instance the piecemeal approach to doling out elements of Obama's failed jobs bill that circumvented congressional approval by way of executive fiat last week, or the $5 billion day we had at the end of September, when the DoE approved loans totalling said amount for Solyndra-like green energy projects.  No, none of that is waste.  They've cut all they can cut, right?  Wrong.
