Let me pose this one ponderance simultaneously towards two politically polar-opposite groups. For folks who incessantly scream 'separation of Church and State,' even though there's nothing that constitutionally says such, how do you mull this over? And for folks who observe the rule of law, national sovereignty and religious liberty, essential constitutionality, the same could be asked.
Last month, word began leaking out that establishment evangelicals in southern Texas were already pushing the illegal alien invasion right along for the federal government. However, information rapidly expanded on such phenomenon this week with a couple of revelations.
On Tuesday, a Catholic Californian couple calls into Rush to tell of a STUNNING request from their local parish via their diocese to house illegal alien children...but don't let the media in on it!
IJReview: Churches in California have reportedly asked their parishioners to shelter illegal aliens in their homes – and not to tell the media. A retired doctor and his wife spoke to Rush Limbaugh Tuesday about the disturbing request.Related links: Catholic Church Urges Parishioners to House Illegal Aliens
“Ann” and “Eddie,” who live in Southern California, told Limbaugh that the Diocese of San Bernardino made the decision to house illegals after the bishop received a call from the federal government:
Ann: We live in Southern California, and we’re Catholic…and there was a town hall meeting last evening, emergency meeting called by our local parish priest, ordered by our bishop.Limbaugh then speaks with Eddie, a retired doctor:
They have made the decision that they’re going to absorb the immigrants that are coming through because the federal government called the bishop’s office on Monday…[they're] asking us to open our homes and to house them for up to a month.
The church will reimburse us for any out-of-pocket expenses and we were told not to talk to anybody about it, especially the media. I’m not especially happy about it.
EDDIE: I’m very concerned about the health care crisis that we’re facing and these illegal aliens that are coming into the United States. Doctors are being asked not to talk to the media…and we got a big problem because there are a lot of diseases that can come through this border…According to a Border Control union, illegal aliens are coming into the United States with “active scabies and other illnesses,” while there are also reports of tuberculosis infection spreading at camps.

For those who've followed the induction and controversies of the new Pontiff, this should come to no surprise, particularly after encouraging illegal immigration in other parts of the world over the past year (from 'tens of thousands of migrants from Africa and the Middle East' migrating into Italy's southernmost territory, the island of Lampedusa in July of 2013 to praise for Sweden's open borders and calling on European governments to help illegal immigrants reach Europe just last month). Hailing from South America himself (an Argentine Jesuit), and knowing what we know of the Marxist tendencies of the region, it was only a matter of time before hispanic countries caught on to the trend.

NRO released more information on Thursday concerning the Obama Administration’s Border-Crisis Plan B: Use the Catholic Church.
NRO: In order to avoid future clashes with the citizens of Murrieta, Calif., over attempts to transfer illegal immigrants there, the Obama administration has turned to an unusual bedfellow: the Catholic Church. Deacon Luis Sanchez of the Diocese of San Bernardino tells National Review Online that an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent approached the diocese on July 2, 2014, and “expressed his desire for the Church to help in helping these families reach their destination.” Since that time, he says, diocesan officials have spoken on the phone with ICE, and they held a planning meeting on Monday. ...if the plan described comes through, the Obama administration may begin using the Catholic Church to shepherd immigrants all over the country. Also on Thursday, the 2014 National Migration Conference in D.C. ended, but clearly highlighted the partnership between Big Religion and Big Government on the issue of aid for immigrants, which just happened to simultaneously occur at a time when the U.S. is being flooded with thousands of illegal aliens. Go figure! And notice I just said 'immigrants.' Naturally, there was no clear differentiation between 'legal' and 'illegal' immigration throughout the conference. It was more U.N. speak of 'refugee' if anything. And the conference did manage to invoke the words of Pope Francis: 'Jesus was a refugee.' Blather. Jesus was THE MESSIAH, not a politician! But compassion for the kids, don't you know.
Now, let's rewind a few days to when we first heard about the Catholics competing for the hearts and minds, seats and souls of these illegal children. Apparently to compete with the Catholics, the sorta-Mormon, sorta-evangelical Glenn Beck has been snookered into the narrative and announced Tuesday that he's taking the kids teddy bears and soccer balls! What are you doing, man? Petitioning and marching on Washington to SEND THEM HOME would be the humane thing to do!
Breitbart: Glenn Beck said bringing soccer balls, teddy bears, and hot meals to illegal immigrants who have been detained along the U.S.-Mexico border will be the most right thing he has ever done.I'm not saying don't help these kids if they actually need assistance. But a little humility would go a long way under the radar instead of mistily announcing the 'look at my compassion' approach and falling for the regime's narrative hook, line and sinker.
On July 19, Beck will travel to McAllen, Texas, because he believes Americans must "open our hearts" to the illegal immigrant children who have been unlawfully entering the country.
"I’ve never taken a position more deadly to my career than this – and I have never, ever taken a position that is more right than this," Beck claimed, according to The Blaze.
Beck said helping illegal immigrant children, most of whom have fled Central American nations, was more "right" to him than even calling out radical Islam.
“We’re going to fill some tractor-trailers with food, with water,” Beck said. “The churches have asked us if we could bring teddy bears and soccer balls, so we’ve loaded up a whole tractor-trailer of nothing but teddy bears and soccer balls. And then I’m going to go serve breakfast and lunch, and I’m going to help unload these trucks, hot meals for 3,000. That’s what we’re doing.”
Some illegal immigrants have been found to have contagious diseases and dangerous gang affiliations, but Beck also emphasized that the United States should be accessible to "all those fleeing poverty and violence."
“Through no fault of their own, they are caught in political crossfire,” Beck said. “And while we continue to put pressure on Washington and change its course of lawlessness, we must also help. It is not either, or. It is both. We have to be active in the political game, and we must open our hearts.”
The number of illegal immigrant children under 18 years of age who have unlawfully crossed the border has drastically increased since President Barack Obama unilaterally enacted his temporary amnesty program for certain DREAMers in 2012.

However deep you want to get into this, do you see what's going on here? You've got entities of Big Religion hopping right aboard the Obama train with Big Business, both of which, for better or worse, have been historically associated with a more conservative-leaning, or at least let's say for the modern era Republican, electorate. Obama's sees his opportunity to pounce on that, manipulate us, and further his agenda of remaking America, not in a Godly or Christian sense, but in a socialistic, tyrannical manner. And some of our religious leaders are getting suckered into this faux, government-created humanitarian narrative that promulgates evasion of the rule of law, while others appear willfully satisfied to take advantage of the opportunities that arise in such tumult. Either way it is misguided.
There is right, and there is wrong. There is order, and there is chaos. There is compassion, and there is naiveté. Everything about this situation, from parents sending their kids northward into illegality to the entitlement of reuniting with illegal family members unencumbered here, is utterly irresponsible. It's wrong, it's chaotic and it is naive to get caught up in the political guilt cloaked as biblical compassion being exploited by the statists in power, yet too many are falling for it and embracing its allure.
What of our own genuinely poor and destitute? Our hungry and afflicted? What of homeless veterans sitting outside these military facilities, unable to receive adequate care, while our government feeds, clothes, entertains, then comfortably shuttles these illegals throughout the U.S. on the taxpayer dime to reuniting destinations?
It's a righteous thing to help and give to the poor and needy, from our own here at home to missions abroad, from native communities in need to the assimilating immigrant. Benevolence is not just admirable, but is a derivative of Providence and should always be encouraged throughout a Christian life.
It's quite another, however, to facilitate illegality, lawlessness, and disorder, and it is upon the common misconceptions of faith and works that the Obama regime manipulates our compassion, enlisting Big Religion, while ensnaring the good-willed, to accept what is obviously wrong. That is sinister.

ADDENDUM: Victor Davis Hanson sheds more light on the perfect storm of special interests that have hijacked our immigration law and created the so-called moral crisis...
The media talks of a moral crisis on the border. It is certainly that, but not entirely in the way we are told. What sort of callous parents simply send their children as pawns northward without escort, in selfish hopes of soon winning for themselves either remittances or eventual passage to the U.S? What sort of government allows its vulnerable youth to pack up and leave, without taking any responsibility for such mass flight? Then factor in the La Raza racialists, the multimillion-dollar Pelosi sermonizers, the progressive and ethnic activists, Silicon Valley, Wall Street, the Chamber of Commerce, the Bergs (both Zucker and Bloomy), Ivy-League elitists, the list goes on...and the clouds begin to part as your moral imperative becomes clear.
Here in the U.S., how can our government simply choose not to enforce existing laws? In reaction, could U.S. citizens emulate Washington’s ethics and decide not to pay their taxes, or to disregard traffic laws, or to build homes without permits? Who in the pen-and-phone era of Obama gets to decide which law to follow and which to ignore?
What a strange, selfish, and callous alliance of rich corporate grandees, cynical left-wing politicians, and ethnic chauvinists who have conspired to erode U.S. law for their own narrow interests, all the while smearing those who object as xenophobes, racists, and nativists. And why have too many in the Church signed on with them? 'For the children' has become such a powerful opiate of the Left's deception which masks subversion and welfarism as compassion and charity.
How did such immoral special interests hijack U.S. immigration law and arbitrarily decide for 300 million Americans who earns entry into America, under what conditions, and from where?
