Border Patrol 45 miles away is NOT border control!

Forgoing all the political banter and punditry, this goes a long way in support of the argument that our southern border isn't simply being overrun from the outside, but is being erased from within...

Twice now, Gov. Perry has made clear to the public, and to the Obama administration, that our own border patrol isn't even on the border! Sure, they patrol it, but no wonder they don't control it! Rest assured, though, Obama knows this...

Yesterday on Fox News Sunday:

“The president was not even aware that his border patrol was back 40 or 45 miles away from the border at these check points. They need to be right on the river. They need to be there as a show of force because that’s the message that gets sent back very quickly to Central America. It’s important to do that because this flood of children is pulling away the border patrol from their normal duties of keeping bad people, keeping the drug cartels [out].”

Breitbart: On "Fox News Sunday," Gov. Rick Perry (R-TX) said President Barack Obama "was not even aware his Border Patrol was 40, 45 miles away, back from the border. They need to be right on the river, as a show of force." Perry had argued instead they be positioned closer to the U.S.-Mexico border.

In discussing the Obama's proposed $3.7 billion emergency funding request to address the flood of illegal unaccompanied children crossing the border, he said “It is a very large amount of money and as you analyze it, very little of it is for border security.”

And last week during an interview with Hannity:

"I said, Mr. President, I said, I really want you to come and see this because, I said, this is important for you to absorb as a father, but more importantly as the president of the United States, to see the humanitarian crisis and to also understand how you can move the border patrol forward, away from the 45 miles or so back they are today, to be right on the border, to see what the (Texas) Department of Public Safety is doing with our gunboats in the river to stop the criminal activity that's going on. That's what the president needs to see. He needs to understand instinctively and intuitively and with his own two eyes what's going on on that border."

...remaking America by unmaking America, 45 miles at a time.
