Happy Birthday, U.S. Constitution!

'We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.'
Today, those of us who still revere the rule of law instilled within the Constitution of the United States, celebrate the 227th anniversary of this one-of-a-kind document...
ConstitutionDay: On September 17, 1787, the delegates to the Constitutional Convention met for the last time to sign the document they had created. We encourage all Americans to observe this important day in our nation's history by attending local events in your area. Celebrate Constitution Day through activities, learning, parades and demonstrations of our Love for the United State of America and the Blessings of Freedom Our Founding Fathers secured for us.
Take some time out today to read the Articles enshrined in this magnificent document, remembering the guidance and restraint that our Framers set forth towards governance that would secure a free nation built on the liberties of a free people to rule themselves. Notice its brevity compared to today's monstrosities. Also, pay particular attention to Article V as a means of rectifying the much needed reform in today's governance. These Statesmen knew the natural progression of civilizations' slides toward tyranny, and instilled safeguards against it (the Bill of Rights later served the same). All WE THE PEOPLE need do is to realize these inherent truths.
