Shapiro on Obama's 'Orwellian' inaugural speech: 'He hates the Constitution'

Breitbart's Ben Shapiro gives an excellent accessment of Obama's 'Orwellian' inaugural speech...
"He hates the Constitution... he said, you know, 'we have to adapt founding principles to our changing times, our changing needs, we must change.' No. You know what? The Constitution was written with an unchanging view of human nature in mind. And the Left believes the only thing that can change human nature on a fundamental level is collective action (i.e., the government). So the Constitution stands in the way of their grand plan to change human nature as it is currently constituted. And that's why you hear everything coming out of Obama is about changing who we are as people; and what that involves is a tremendous reversal of all basic common sense. ... I thought the key line of the entire speech, President Obama said it near the end, he said, "Our founding creed doesn't dictate that we agree on what liberty constitutes." Umm, actually, Mr. President, it does. That may be the only thing that our founding creed dictates, because if we weren't fighting for liberty against tyranny, what is the Declaration of Independence about? He's just rendered all of our founding documents meaningless in the name of Big Government progressivism."

Shapiro's additional accessment of all these faux Republicans being hired by a fawning leftist media to propagandize against Obama's opposition is also right on the mark.

ADDENDUM I: Jeffrey Lord at the American Spectator discerns similar meaning from Obama's Orwellian speech, and further explores the moves that this president and his political operatives pursue to target and ultimately disassemble the Constitution.
What we are living through, what the Obama inaugural and the campaign that preceded it was all about, is creating utopia in America.

That is the goal of Barack Obama. That is the goal of his campaign-operatives-turned-agenda-operatives calling themselves “Organizing for Action.” That is the goal of the humorously named “Democracy Initiative” and it’s $1.69 billion pool of special interest money.

And they cannot accomplish this utopia — surprise, surprise — by using the Constitution of the United States. The rights of others — i.e., you — stand in their way. They must be either restricted if not abolished outright.

There is no Orwellian language too far-fetched, no straw man big enough that cannot and will not be pressed into the service of wrecking the Constitution.
ADDENDUM II: And here's another witty discussion with Ben Shapiro from SunNews...
