Interesting that by the end of the interview Piers can't fathom a democratic government that he might grace with his inhabitance being capable of turning tyrannical, particularly as a British citizen whose position in the world has bore witness to that exact occurrence by numerous European neighbors throughout the 20th century. What makes the 21st such an exception? Particularly in our own nation with a ruling class led by a president who proclaims we're not exceptional anymore.
