The unconscionable has happened: An American citizen has been jailed for defending the Faith against judicial tyranny (UPDATE)

“Today, judicial lawlessness crossed into judicial tyranny. Today, for the first time ever, the government arrested a Christian woman for living according to her faith. This is wrong. This is not America. ~ Ted Cruz
Who would have though that a country founded on Judeo-Christian values by those fleeing religious oppression and seeking a land where religious liberty would thrive and could be practiced freely without being imprisoned for doing so, the first right enshrined in the Bill of Rights, would be thwarted by the personal policy of judicial activism to not only overthrow our liberties, but to imprison a believer? Well, that day has come.

Earlier today Kentucky Democratic County Clerk Kim Davis was jailed by a George W. Bush appointed activist federal judge for not signing gay marriage licenses (see, this goes beyond mere party lines). And for every politician, regardless of party persuasions, who has sided with judicial tyranny throughout the day, as Cruz explained, they are defending a hypocritical standard...

Where is the call for the mayor of San Francisco to resign for creating a sanctuary city — resulting in the murder of American citizens by criminal illegal aliens welcomed by his lawlessness?
And what of Hillary Clinton? Where's that indictment as she casts judgment on this woman? The same argument can be made all the way to the top...

The very same federal judge then illegitimately directs deputy clerks to grant marriage licenses to same-sex couples. Lawlessness begets lawlessness, and as GatewayPundit explains, though Cruz and others are of course correct, "Liberals always like to pick and choose which laws they will follow… When they’re not protesting or holding riots."

There has also been a lot of throwing of stones by the left, particularly within the media, because yes, Mrs. Davis is a sinner (she's had multiple unsuccessful marriages...damn her to Hell!). While there's only been one spotless Man to ever walk the earth, the secularists' discernment of sin is far from flawless: when one of faith sins, forever a hypocrite, no correction, no forgiveness; when the faithless sin, so what. This hypocrisy can no more stand than the injustice perpetrated against this Christian woman.

Many have joined the call for every Believer, every Constitutionalist, every lover of liberty to #StandWithKimDavis.

On Thursday’s Mark Levin Show: It’s the courts that are out of control, abusing their power, and nullifying the rule of law, not Kim Davis, the KY county clerk jailed for not issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples. The 1st Amendment exists to protect individuals and their religious liberty from the Federal Government, which includes district courts. This is the problem we have when 9 lawyers dress in robes who impose their will on America. Sen Ted Cruz calls in and declares that he stands with Kim Davis. When President Obama resigns after years of ignoring our immigration laws then we can talk about Kim Davis.

ADDENDUM: via Levin...
On Friday’s Mark Levin Show: The ongoing situation in Kentucky isn’t about rule of law, it’s about the rule of the left because all of the rules aren’t being enforced in this country just the ones the left wants. Phony conservatives and Democrats talk about the rule of law when it comes to KY county clerk Kim Davis but this country is full of lawlessness starting at the top with President Obama violating our constitution. Sanctuary states and cities are lawless yet nothing happens to those that are not enforcing those laws.
