DailySignal: In a newly surfaced video, one of Obamacare’s architects admits a “lack of transparency” helped the Obama administration and congressional Democrats pass the Affordable Care Act. The conservative group American Commitment posted Jonathan Gruber’s remarks, reportedly from an Oct. 17, 2013, event, on YouTube.Other jewels within this video are Gruber's admission that if they'd actually written the bill in such a way that the CBO would have scored it as a tax, as well as if it had been explicit that healthy people pay in, while sick people get money (i.e., the truth about Obamacare!), it never would have passed.
“Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage,” says the MIT economist who helped write Obamacare. “And basically, call it the stupidity of the American voter or whatever, but basically that was really, really critical for the thing to pass.”
So, it's not a tax, when selling to the American people and the CBO, but it is a tax, when arguing before the Supreme Court (we will never forget, John Roberts). Lie, cheat and steal...Gruber and Obama did whatever it took to pass this bill.
The thing is, it wouldn't even take Republicans using the same dishonest approach to accomplish repeal, just utilize the media that's recorded all of these shenanigans!
ADDENDUM: via Levin:
On Monday's Mark Levin Show: We have audio from Obamacare and Romneycare's main architect, Jonathan Gruber, saying that they deliberately wrote the law to confuse Congress and the Congressional Budget Office. He deliberately deceived the American people and made it so there was no way to have oversight of it. And now, we have our Republicans in Congress backtracking on repealing Obamacare by rather only stripping away parts of it.UPDATES: via TRS:
The Republican leadership is planning their success by how many bills they can get President Obama to pass - rather than to stand on principle or do what is right. They would rather appear to be bipartisan, than to better the country. If they were serious about this fight, they wouldn't be so willing to give away the power of the purse.
Last night Megyn Kelly showed a 2nd video of Obama architect Jonathan Gruber talking about how Obamacare passed because Americans are “too stupid”:

In a third video, the Obamacare architect talks about the ‘basic exploitation’ of American voters...
TheDC: A third video has surfaced of Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber bragging about pulling the wool over the eyes of the American public in order to help implement Obamacare.Related link: MARK LEVIN: “This is what revolutions are made of…I’m not kidding”
“It’s a very clever, you know, basic exploitation of the lack of economic understanding of the American voter,” Gruber, an economist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, said during a speech at the University of Rhode Island in November 2012.
Now in yet a fourth video, and likely the most damning, Gruber brags about constructing all the Obamacare lies and fraud “in the Oval Office” with Obama!
ConservativeTreehouse: During a June 13th 2012 PBS interview with Frontline Jonathan Gruber explains with great and specific detail how the entire construct of ObamaCare came into being. And the hits keep rolling...#5 and #6 videos have surfaced.
Within the interview he is asked questions about meeting with President Obama. Gruber discusses meeting with Obama in 2006 as a senator, and then meeting with Obama in the oval office as President when they brainstormed the “Cadillac Tax” and came up with the way to fool people about taxing for healthcare. There’s no longer a way the White House can try to distance themselves from Gruber.
Gruber mocks a concerned voter as an ‘adolescent child’ in the fifth video:
DailySignal: A video from Vermont shows Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber mocking a Vermonter who expressed concern about single-payer health care.
As Gruber sits listening, the committee chair reads a comment from a Vermonter who expresses concern that the economist’s plan might lead to “ballooning costs, increased taxes and bureaucratic outrages,” among other things.
After hearing the Vermonter’s worries, Gruber responds, “Was this written by my adolescent children by any chance?”
The remark was met with uproarious laughter.
And in the sixth video, Gruber says 'mislabeling' helped them get rid of tax breaks...
HotAir: The hits just keep on rolling in. After the previously unknown investment advisor Rich Weinstein established that there was a literal trove of videos featuring Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber speaking candidly and in strikingly impolitic ways about the health care reform law and the American public he helped deceive, the mainstream press is now getting in on the act.
The sixth installment in the series of videos featuring Gruber crucifying himself was uncovered by CNN’s Jake Tapper:
The issue at hand in this sixth video is known as the “Cadillac tax,” which was represented as a tax on employers’ expensive health insurance plans. While employers do not currently have to pay taxes on health insurance plans they provide employees, starting in 2018, companies that provide health insurance that costs more than $10,200 for an individual or $27,500 for a family will have to pay a 40 percent tax.Much like the videos uncovered by Weinstein, Tapper discovered the sixth video also hiding in plain sight posted on the Pioneer Institute’s public policy research website.
