Fast & furiously 'brainwash' the people about gun control

Over the weekend, Breitbart uncovered a 1995 video from then-U.S. Attorney Eric Holder announcing a public campaign to "really brainwash people into thinking about guns in a vastly different way." He's really learned subversion over the years, huh? This speaks volumes about Holder's Big Government motives and only-for-thee-but-not-for-me mentality.

What we need to do is change the way in which people think about guns, especially young people, and make it something that’s not cool, that it’s not acceptable, it’s not hip to carry a gun anymore, in the way in which we changed our attitudes about cigarettes. ...

One thing that I think is clear with young people and with adults as well is that we just have to be repetitive about this. It’s not enough to simply have a catchy ad on a Monday and then do it every Monday. We need to do this every day of the week and just really brainwash people into thinking about guns in a vastly different way.

So, while the man behind the Fast & Furious coverup botched that attempt to undermine the 2nd Amendment, he clearly hadn't honed his subversive skills back then. This evidence adds more weight to AG Holder's core belief in disarming the citizenry, instead of focusing on the criminial element (who always obtain guns regardless!). Good job, Breitbart.

ADDENDUM: TheRightScoop dug up a 2001 article from Lexis Nexus in which Holder wrote an op-ed for the Washington Post using the tragedy of 9/11 to argue for more gun control (only weeks after that heinous act)!
