Breitbart's vetting (UPDATES)

Today, BuzzFeed released an edited portion of the video, referred by Breitbart as the "Harvard/Obama/race video" showing a young Barack Obama leading a protest at Harvard Law School on behalf of Prof. Derrick Bell. Breitbart says they'll be releasing more on Bell, a radical academic tied to Jeremiah Wright, in the coming hours.

In it's current selective edit, this won't serve any immediate blow to Obama (as the edit was intended to diminish its impact). However, Breitbart has stated that the full tape will be released tonight on Fox News’ Hannity. Even so, I'm not so certain that this piece is meant to be a stand-alone to take him out in one blow. Rather, it seems to be a building block to a much larger case against the Alinskyite-in-chief, particularly when you begin to combine this with the previous elements revealed on Monday's launch of Breitbart.com, concerning then state Senator 'Baraka' Obama as a guest panelist in a discussion following a play celebrating Alinsky. I think what we're seeing is the kickoff of Breitbart's vetting of a man who the mainstream media purposely refused to follow through with the first time around.

UPDATE: The unedited Obama race video was unveiled by Breitbart editors Joel Pollak and Ben Shapiro Wednesday evening on Hannity with startling revelations about Derrick Bell and Obama's embrace of this radical, which may in fact provide more powerful evidence of our current President's radical roots, more so than that between him and Ayers or Wright. And perhaps equally disturbing is the reality of the media cover-up involved.

"This was not about diversity...this was about radical ideology, racial ideology"

UPDATE II: Andrew is smiling over this one...Soledad O’Brien and her CNN panel manage to prove Breitbart & Pollak's point: that the media care as little now as it did then about looking into Barack Obama's associations with radicals that have profoundly affected the way the man rules and makes policy. Instead, they'd rather jump to insinuations that Pollak is a racist...unbeknownst to them, the guy is in an interracial marriage. Ed Morrissey over at HotAir gives a great account of this exchange, as well as his thoughts, but Pollak (and Amy Holmes) make the rest of these guys on the panel look like idiots...yeah, Andrew is definitely smiling.

UPDATE III: Throughout Thursday, Breitbart is releasing a slew of Derrick Bell videos that are illustrative of his radical opinions. There are many videos to scroll through, including some interesting one of Thomas Sowell discussing Bell's radicalism. There's also some more videos being collected of the media headspins over even having the gall to bring this information to light (shocker).
