Are GOP insiders gaming towards a brokered convention?

(Since this writing, with Jeb Bush now out and Kasich & Carson drifting, it's obvious that Rubio is the establishment choice of the GOP insiders.)
It’s obvious right now that Ted Cruz and Donald Trump are in the lead for the GOP nomination. However, the ruling class in the GOP doesn’t want Trump or Cruz to get the nomination. They would rather consider the possibility of pooling the delegates of John Kasich, Marco Rubio, and Jeb Bush to block them rather than letting the American people decide. What is scary is that Bush, Kasich, and Rubio don’t even have to have more votes than Trump and Cruz combined to do this. The Republican Party is rejecting its own party and has become corrupt. Though they are not same, this is similar to what is going on with the Democrats whose super delegates will pick their anointed candidate regardless of who voters choose. In addition, Americans need to be vigilante because a brokered convention will be the difference between liberty and tyranny. ~ ML, 2/18/16

...and he goes on to discuss why this gives cause for 'great concern and frustration' for voters over the RNC's party establishment...

On the road to taking our country back, we MUST reclaim our party! I have serious doubts that either could be accomplished with Trump. In fact, a brokered convention might be a welcomed sight if that be the case. However, quite the opposite sentiment is shared with the possibility of a Cruz nomination. As Rush admitted, Cruz is 'the closest in our lifetime we have ever been to Ronald Reagan.' Unfortunate that Trumpsters are blind to it.
