There isn't any credit to be had, only blame. And he's waiting for the Republicans to pull the trigger, so they're the ones to blame..."The Constitution limits him. The Democrats ran the Senate, for two years, and if Obama had wanted to do amnesty for all 11 million Americans at the time, he could have done it, and he could have done it according to the Constitution. He had control of Congress.
Why didn’t he do it, was what I asked yesterday, why didn’t he do it? He’s running around now saying that he would act unilaterally after refusing to act with Congress. Congress won’t help him so he’s gonna have to act unilaterally. However, he had a Congress for two years and didn’t do it. And the answer to the question is, he knew, and everybody in the Regime knew, that the American people were opposed to it, and he didn’t want the Democrats being blamed for it, because there was no credit."
So, Obama won't grant amnesty until he's certain that the GOP catches the blame for it...
"Obama had total control of the House and the Senate, and he used that for Obamacare. Now the Republicans own the House and maybe they’re gonna win the Senate, and that’s when Obama… I don’t think he’s ever gonna grant amnesty. The only way he’s gonna grant blanket amnesty to five or six million, or all 11 or 12 million or whatever, is if the Republicans get the blame for it.
Since the Republicans are seen as the only ones who are political, he may not have that much trouble engineering that. And, of course, there are plenty of RINO Republicans ready to drink the Kool-Aid and do it, because they’ve bought this nonsense that the only way they’re ever gonna win the White House again is with the Hispanic vote, and the only way to get the Hispanic vote is to do amnesty.
It is a death sentence, and Obama knows it."
