Let me clue Americans in on who is 'beneath the decorum and dignity of the United States Senate' ...DICK DURBIN!
Exhibit A:
- 2003 - Durbin filibustered against Janice Rodgers Brown, the first black woman on the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals.
- 2005 - Durbin voted against Condoleezza Rice, the first black female Sec. of State, during the 40th anniversary of the March on Selma no less!
To my recollection, both of those women are black...so, did DICK Durbin ask them to sit in the back of the bus before he accused someone else of doing the same to his political candidate of choice? And there's the manipulation it really boils down to for such a malcontent.
These are the games that the Democratic Party (yes, the same party of slavery and segregation, if you've paid attention to history) have played on blacks since the days of LBJ. Baiting skin color for loyalty, and thus power. And ESPN's Stephen A. Smith began to dig into the reality of this insight yesterday...
Breitbart: On Tuesday, ESPN regular Stephen A. Smith spoke at the Impact Symposium at Vanderbilt University on the topic of “How You See It: Perceptions of (In)Equality.”
Smith believes that every black person in America should vote Republican at least once so that both parties could address their interests.
“Black folks in America are telling one party, ‘We don’t give a damn about you.’ They’re telling the other party ‘You’ve got our vote.’ Therefore, you have labeled yourself ‘disenfranchised’ because one party knows they’ve got you under their thumb, the other party knows they’ll never get you, and nobody comes to address your interest.”
2 points of correction (via Levin):
- Barry Goldwater was actually a big supporter of the civil rights movement, but he was against the civil rights legislation of the time because it violated the principles of federalism.
- The first civil rights movement was actually launched under Eisenhower, a Republican.
On Wednesday’s Mark Levin Show: It's time for a national discussion about the Obama Administration and the ongoing race-baiting and anti-Semitism in the White House. Hard left activists always advance their agenda by bringing up events like Selma and Rosa Parks. Sen. Dick Durbin compared the GOP holding up Loretta Lynch's confirmation to sitting in the back of the bus despite his own opposition to Condoleezza Rice and Janice Rogers Brown. The history of civil and human rights is a history of fighting the Democrat party. Also, President Obama has all the time in the world to talk to Islamo-nazi regimes but has no time to congratulate Benjamin Netanyahu on his re-election. Israel sees the Islamo-nazi handiwork firsthand, as does Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Egypt, yet Obama would rather align himself with Iran and CAIR than our allies in the Middle East.Just the past 24 hours should've enlightened Americans of all ethnic backgrounds about how the 'history of civil and human rights' have been and continue to be a 'history of fighting the Democrat party'!
Preceding Obama's dismay over Netanyahu's BIG WIN, a 'panicked, racist' liberal press busily trashed Netanyahu as 'panicked, racist' in typical, sycophantic lockstep...
- CBS and NBC Bash Netanyahu on Election Night; ‘Could Destroy’ Chances for Peace with Obama, Palestinians
- MSLSD Denounces Netanyahu as a 'Panicking' 'Racist'
- CNN’s Christiane Amanpour Attacks Netanyahu, ‘Right-Wing’ for Being ‘Racist’ Toward Arabs
- NYSlimes: An Israeli Election Turns Ugly (yeah, that'd be the same publication that downplayed the Holocaust!)
Whether it's coopting Americans according to skin tone or resurrecting anti-Semitism (or as we're already witnessing, the baiting of a rising hispanic populace), there exists a rapidly socialized party that has seemingly perfected the game of demographic politics to the point of quite confidently exposing their own hypocrisy without repercussion from a bought-and-paid-for press apparatchik.
So, really, the only question that remains is when are Americans (unhyphenated) going to opt out of this charade?
