There is a foundational solution to the budget-busting party chicanery of our governmental deterioration

For those who didn't already see the writing on the wall Monday when Obama announced his budget-busting $4 TRILLION governmental theft proposal, here's how that'll go down in a nutshell: Republican lawmakers will continue to holler, as they compromise on likely half of what this despot wants. And when they exclaim, 'but look what we cut,' it'll be embarrassingly obvious that they've given Obama a larger budget than his usual trillion-plus (or a the very least, equivalent). In other words, continued fecklessness.

As soon as this establishment Republican majority was ushered into office in November, well ahead of their January swearing in, they've betrayed their constituencies en masse. Whether it's folding on the CRomnibus, or the coming capitulation on unlawful executive amnesty and confirming a new AG criminal who agrees with it, this Republican Party continues to display its leftward shift. Part of me wonders if Gruber had a point, albeit for all the wrong reasons. Whether through trickery or stupidity, it's abundantly clear that Republican voters received the short end of the stick throughout the last primary cycle and into the voting booth.

Concurrently, witnessing day in and day out what's become of a Democratic president, party and constituency, it's not difficult to conclude that we've got a fundamental, national identity problem...
On Wednesday's Mark Levin Show: We're having an identity crisis in America as a result of our government and politicians. There's a total rejection of American traditions, customs, and values in Washington D.C. This is what President Obama has meant all along by "fundamental transformation." He's spent 6 years disparaging what makes America great while rejecting our founding principles and replacing them with his Marxist ideology.

So, if politicians, no matter what party (which is getting harder to distinguish between the two), continue to run roughshod over common sense American people who just want to live their lives in the freedoms bestowed on them by those who came before, then where does our redress lie? Well, it's certainly not in Washington. It's proven time and time again that it's unfixable. But for a literal handful on Capitol Hill, we'd have already crumbled. However, the cracks and fissures go not unnoticed. And it is for this degradation that we must continue to revisit a very real, foundational solution...
On Monday's Mark Levin Show: Our Constitutional system isn't in place anymore in Washington, D.C. Our representatives in Congress claim to be true defenders of the constitution but they're only defending the status quo and the destruction of the constitution. The Founders gave us Article V as a way to stand up to an out of control, tyrannical government, which is what we face today. The destruction of our Constitution is happening in a few buildings in the beltway, and the only legal way to fight back is through Article V.
This is federalism at its best. With the failures of secularism and socialism running parallel with the governmental despotism we're experiencing more every year, every week, every day, perhaps it's time to hit the restart button. And where better to find that point than to recognize the powers that the Framers instilled in a free people.
