Obama's path to disparity: from food stamps to unemployment to Medicaid

One in seven Americans on food stamps over the last year...
Breitbart: Food stamp enrollments have remained over 47 million for an unprecedented 13 consecutive months.

According to the most recent figures available from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), which oversees the food stamp program, in August 2012, 47,102,765 individuals were enrolled in the program, known officially as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Enrollments never fell below 47 million in subsequent months and as of August 2013 stood at 47,665,069, representing nearly one out of every seven people in America.

Recent years have seen an explosion in food stamp enrollments. Since January 2009, the number of individuals on food stamps has skyrocketed from 31.9 million to 47.6 million.
91.5 MILLION people are jobless...
TheDC: A record high 91,541,000 Americans did not participate in the labor force this October.

According to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), 932,000 people dropped out of the labor force last month, from at total of 90,609,000 in September to 91,541,000 in October.

The BLS defines a person “[n]ot in the labor force” as age 16 and older who are not employed and not considered to be unemployed as they have not looked for work in the four weeks prior to the survey.
And despite all of that, when it's announced that 444,000 poor have been signed up for Medicaid, it's being touted as success? It's hardly such...
CBSNews: The underdog of government health care programs is emerging as a rare early success story of President Obama's technologically challenged health overhaul.

Often dismissed, Medicaid has signed up 444,000 people in 10 states in the six weeks since open enrollment began, according to Avalere Health, a market analysis firm that compiled data from those states. Twenty-five states are expanding their Medicaid programs, but data for all of them was not available.

Meanwhile, private plans offered through troublesome online markets are expected to have enrolled a much smaller number of people.

This is nothing short of a national disaster...yet, they want us to celebrate this path to disparity? Clueless wonders when it comes to reality.
