theRightScoop: Mark Levin opened his show last night explaining that it would be unconstitutional for Congress to pass legislation that allows Americans to keep their insurance plans that have been canceled because of Obamacare. While it may sound like good legislation, Levin argues that it would force insurance companies into selling policies to the American people and that there is no constitutional authority for Congress to exercise such power. Thus, it would be unconstitutional for Congress to force insurance companies, or rather any business to sell to people.
On Wednesday’s Mark Levin Show: There is a lot of talk about passing a law or amendment to Obamacare that would allow people to keep their health insurance. If Congress can pass a law ordering a private business to sell you something, can it not pass a law ordering individuals to do something they don't want to do? It's a slippery slope and it’s becoming increasingly tyrannical. This fight needed to be fought before Obamacare was instituted and only a few conservatives were willing to make that fight. Now is the time for the House to pass a bill repealing Obamacare with a united Republican party! Then the Senate will have to make a decision – stick with Harry Reid or the American people?Related link: It Is a Trap
ADDENDUM: Levin also interviewed the Indiana Senate leader who is beginning the Article V convention process to restore America. Great news...check it out!
