Once again, on Hannity, Levin comes down on all of Congress, particularly timid congressional Republicans, who neglected this scandal when they knew about it before the 2012 elections. Mark also weighs in on a new scandal with the AP, as well as Benghazi...theRightScoop: Mark Levin wants to know where was Congress last year when these Tea Party groups were getting targeted by the IRS and complaining about it publicly. He said the same people who are outraged now weren’t taking these groups seriously and that if it were up to Congress there would have been NO IG investigation into the IRS and this stuff would still be going on.
It’s time for Congress to take off the mittens and get serious, he says, and it’s long past time for them to understand they have power under Article One of the Constitution.
And it just keeps going, as it was revealed yesterday evening that the same IRS that targeted conservative groups also disclosed confidential documents from those groups to ProPublica last year!
