McCain acts as if in his single visit, he knows more than someone actually from there! Arrogant stupidity on display daily with this fool. But Obama's eagerness for war is not much different. First, we know there's serious question as to who carried out that chemical attack. We also understand just how 'moderate' these rebels are. But more to the point of the particular strategy the President now advocates (i.e., 'persuading Americans'), just the fact that open coercion has to be utilized should inform the public of the uncertain outcomes and questionable motives behind yet another, dare I say, quagmire in the Middle East.TheGlobeAndMail: President Barack Obama says he understands the American public’s deep skepticism about launching military action against Syria. But, within the advance of the Obama/McCain doctrine, riling up Islamists one nation at a time throughout the Middle East, assisting in the toppling of manageable dictators to install these 'moderate' extremist nutjob regimes, the chaos created has put one group in the crosshairs of radical rage.
All one needs to do is take a stroll down democracy project lane, from the toppling of Gaddafi in Libya and the subsequent Benghazi debacle, to the ousting of Morsi in Egypt, to the current civil war in Syria, to see the path of murder and mayhem that has ramped up the persecution of Christians in the region...

For starters, and as CBN’s Gary Lane just put it, “What do Muslim Brotherhood members do when Egyptian Security Forces launch a forewarned operation to clear them from Cairo tent cities? Attack Christians. That’s right. Morsi supporters responded with a monumental attack — unprecedented in modern times — on churches throughout Egypt. The torching and destruction of churches occured within six hours of the start of the military crackdown.”
Indeed, the abuse of Egypt’s Christians has reached unprecedented levels in the modern era. Al-Qaeda’s flag has been raised above their churches; their pope is in hiding under threat of death; a priest was shot in front of his church, and another Copt beheaded; their children are being abducted; nary a day goes by without a church being attacked or set aflame; hate filled graffiti covers their homes and churches.

She spoke on condition of anonymity for fear of reprisals.”
Arabic news agency Al Hadath gives more information concerning this latest terror attack on Syria’s Christians, specifically how the al-Qaeda linked rebels “terrorized the Christians, threatening to be avenged on them after the triumph of the revolution.”
Thus al-Qaeda terrorists eagerly await U.S. assistance against the Syrian government, so they can subjugate if not slaughter Syria’s Christians, secularists, and non-Muslims — even as the Obama administration tries to justify war on Syria by absurdly evoking the “human rights” of Syrians on the one hand, and lying about al-Qaeda’s presence in Syria on the other.

While there are occasional bright spots, the prospects for the future appear bleak.It's no secret that Christians have been repressed in this part of the world for a very long time. But there's also no denying that with the advent of the Arab Spring, supported by much of Washington's elite, along with continued efforts in nation building and the false assumptions of stability under the 'dictators-out-Islamists-in' model, countless numbers of Christians are senselessly suffering and dying as a result.
