RUSH: GOP is ‘frozen’, afraid to oppose anything that involves Obama because of race

Don't we know it! This was all predictable. Neither of his opposing presidential contenders' knew how to deal with it, and neither do the collective of opposition leadership on Capitol Hill. Rush explains that the opposition party in Washington that's supposed to represent us on issue after issue is afraid to, and the primary element beneath the paralysis is obvious...
"All we need is some representation, and I’m going to get in trouble for saying this. (sigh) How do I say this? If the next Democrat presidential candidate is not African-American, it’s going to change everything about the way the Republican Party operates. I think the Republican Party is frozen. They are afraid to oppose anything that involves Obama and the Democrats right now because of race. The way it is used as a hammer against Obama’s opponents has been very effective on them."
And we have the lapdog media to thank for much of it...

ADDENDUM: To be fair, the GOP's not the only ones 'frozen'...just look at how the CBC is handling the Syria issue...
MiamiHerald: As an increasing number of African-American lawmakers voice dissent over the Obama administration’s war plans in Syria, the chairwoman of the Congressional Black Caucus has asked members to “limit public comment” on the issue until they are briefed by senior administration officials.
...but race has nothing to do with it? Riiight.
