Boehner: 'No decision' made on whether House will defund Obamacare (UPDATE)

This guy just can't find it in himself to shrug off the mediaites & consultants and decisively act with principle. Spineless...
YahooNews: There is a movement brewing among conservative Republicans to insist that the federal health care law known as Obamacare be defunded as part of an agreement to keep the government running. But House Speaker John Boehner on Thursday was noncommittal when asked if the House would pursue a bill that strips funding for the law.

"No decisions have been made on how we're going to proceed,” Boehner said at his weekly press briefing when asked if the House version of a continuing resolution to fund the government, which Congress must pass within the next two months to avoid a government shutdown, would include Obamacare funding.

(note: It wouldn't be a 'burden' at all if he'd stop fearing a shutdown, do the right thing & defund Obamacare! Think of it as golf, Johnny!)

CFP: Conservatives on Capitol Hill are not the only ones frustrated with Speaker John A. Boehner. Now a group of conservatives in Ohio-8, his congressional district are working to defeat him in the 2014 GOP primary.

According to the Ohio Accountability Project’s website, the group came together and decided it was time to hold their own congressman accountable: “John Boehner–was no longer adequately representing the people in OH-8.”

“We’re tired of it, though. That’s why we’ve formed this group. We’ll be working to bring accountability back to our district—we’ll work to put a true conservative in office,” he said.
Virginia, you can save us the trouble of the next ineffective Speaker and primary Cantor as well!

ADDENDUM: Posturing? Ok, it's one across the bow, I suppose...but one that will easily be disallowed on the Senate floor by Reid, before given a chance to be vetoed by Obama. There's no repercussions...
TheHill: The House voted Friday to prevent the IRS from enforcing any aspect of ObamaCare, a bill meant to exact revenge against an agency that Republicans say is incapable of neutral enforcement of the law.

Members approved the Keep the IRS Off Your Health Care Act in a 232-185 vote.

The Obama administration threatened to veto the IRS enforcement bill and said it would undermine the 2010 healthcare law that is aimed at expanding healthcare coverage.
What does have teeth? DEFUNDING IT in the coming CR! Here's some advise from someone I've had a big problem with lately, but the establishment seems to be listening to...

UPDATE: Looks like they've reached a dastardly decision (check next post)...on more than one front...
SFGate: Carl Guardino, head of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, came away from a meeting with House GOP whip Kevin McCarthy of Bakersfield a few moments ago on Friday saying he “would bet on” comprehensive immigration reform getting to passage this year.
These people in Washington we call leaders...are ushering the fall from within.
