Well, I chose not to participate in the play-by-play of the Zimmerman trial. For one, it was a local case that was nationally politicized by the race-baiters, all the way up to the White House...and when that occurs, we've learned it's usually to distract from other sinister acts committed by this regime. But for another, the media circus that ensued over this case, along with the judge's antics, were enough to turn off those among us with the common sense (something lacking these days) to see that the prosecution had nothing in what we knew from the beginning was a case of self defense.
Now, although George Zimmerman was acquitted of the murder charges, this case still won't be behind him. Not while the NAACP calls on the Obama administration to pursue civil rights charges against Zimmerman immediately following the acquittal. And there will likely be a civil suit to drain this man of any future earnings...all because he chose to serve and protect his community, was beaten for it, then defended his own life through the unfortunate loss of another...and it was all funneled through the hyper-politicized media, which precisely relates to what I wanted to share this morning.
Mark O'Mara, the lead defense attorney for George Zimmerman, appropriately chastised the media during the final moments of his post-verdict press conference for their handling of this case: 'You guys, the media' went after him like mad scientists!
And you can guarantee they'll continue to fuel the flames of division for controversy's sake. It is mad.
