Santorum joins Texas legislators in standing for abortion provisions, demands media tell the truth!

As the Texas Senate gets ready to pass a relatively moderate abortion bill, with basic medical standards required for abortion facilities, as well as banning abortions past 20-weeks gestation (5 months is plenty of time to decide, even in cases of rape), Rick Santorum joined the discussion to shed some light on the media portrayal, praising these courageous leaders while demanding that the media tell the truth!
"Listening and watching the reports of the media of what's going on here in Texas makes it sound like there's some extreme measure passing down, some radical ideas. And you hear Republicans throughout the country saying 'why are we talking about this, why are people in Texas doing this.' I wish these people would simply go away. It's interesting to note, and I want the media to note, that the media's focus and concentration is always 'oh, the Republicans are such a radical group and they're such a radical party and they want to do these radical things.' Yet when Republicans want to do things, like as the governor just said, have safety standards commensurate with every other surgical procedure done in the state of Texas, and protect a child who would otherwise be born alive, which the majority of Americans by far support a ban on such a thing, that is considered 'radical' and fellow Republicans do not line up behind them. Where on the other side, you have a radical small group here in the Texas Senate who blocked this bill, and the person who blocked it is LIONIZED by the media! Roundly supported by the President and everybody in their party for taking an EXTREME point of view by any stretch of the imagination! So you in the media need to understand how you are reporting 'the truth.' The truth is the extreme party on this issue are the folks standing up here saying women don't deserve basic sanitary standards when it comes to abortion clinics, and children who would otherwise be born alive are not entitled to any protection."
RIGHT ON, RIGHT ON!!

Santorum also made mention of Gosnell in his home-state, as well as the lesser known case of similar disgust here in the state of Texas. Democrats and other abortion advocates don't seem to want to talk about those.
