More devious Obamacare revelations

Since that sham of a healthcare ‘summit’ over a year ago, we’ve heard Paul Ryan repeatedly explain that $500B in Medicare savings were being double counted in the cost estimates for Obamacare:

Breitbart’s Big Government reports on the cooking of the books:
“…the House Energy and Commerce Health Subcommittee heard testimony from Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. Representative John Shimkus (R-IL) asked about the double counting of the $500 billion of savings which seemed to still helping the bottom line of Medicare and contributing to the funding of Obamacare. He asked Sebelius which program was supposed to receive the benefit of that Medicare cut, she answered, “Both.”…”

“In other words we have been lied to. Barack Obama’s signature Health Care plan will be adding at least an additional half a trillion dollars to the deficit. How’s that for revenue neutral?”
When pressed further on this issue, administration officials continue to spin and excuse the double counting because ‘it’s what’s always been done’! Exactly…which adds to the massive debt that we find ourselves mired in!  I thought these were the folks who were going to end 'business as usual' in Washington?  Yeah, they certainly have...and not for the better.

To add insult to injury, earlier in the week, Congresswoman Michele Bachmann has discovered a provision of Obamacare that automatically appropriates $105B without any congressional approval!
“You see, it turns out Pelosi was right when she said, “We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it.” Because now, after passage, we are discovering an astonishing $105,464,000,000 has already been appropriated to the Health and Human Services Secretary for ObamaCare through FY2019.”

I repeat what Michele says: MOST MEMBERS OF CONGRESS DON’T EVEN KNOW!!

Here are two clear directives for Republicans: 1.) disallow the double counting, and 2.) rescind this hidden $105B! Conservatives must hammer the GOP leadership on these two issues immediately. This is more spending being added to the national debt that can and MUST be avoided!
