The Debt runneth over

Was he looking in his crystal ball, the mirror or BOTH when he called it 'Leadership Failure'?!

Moving on from Obama’s floundering, DeMint is making a concerted effort to express a key element to the freshman class that this article, while getting a great point across, nevertheless leaves out: the concept of principled decisions.
“DeMint to Freshmen: Don’t raise debt ceiling because you didn’t create the problem” by therightscoop

Why raise it on an institution that can't control its spending? Defaulting on our debt? Risk our rating? Both will inevitably occur due to gov't's uncontrollable spending. Yes, we've got many conservatives to help control the purse strings now, but 2 out of 3 branches are still controlled by the radicals who've run it up +3 trillion over barely two years with insanely expensive entitlements!

There should be NO increase in the debt ceiling WITHOUT a REAL deficit reduction plan, period.
