More attacks, Obama mum

Coordinated snowball effect...

While you were sleeping, more attacks on embassies across the Middle East took place. FYI, Mr. President, this ain't over a freakin' internet video! And you only wished there were a few protesters, Hillary (and that goes for our lamestream media as well, who continue to refer to these extremist hordes as 'conservatives'). These Islamists don't want an apology, they want Americans dead...

HotAir: So how’s that Arab Spring working out for us? After riots “spontaneously” erupted on the eleventh anniversary of 9/11 in Libya and Egypt, they spread overnight to two more Arab nations with recent populist uprisings. In Yemen, where we’re trying to fight a particularly virulent branch of al-Qaeda, protestors surrounded the US embassy chanting “Death to America!” Just as in Egypt, they breached the perimeter and burned the US flag, replacing it with an Islamist banner:

Over in Tunisia, where hopes of liberalization after the so-called “Arab Spring” ran highest, Islamists nearly overran the gates of our still-open embassy.

Demonstrations continued in Cairo, and a flag-burning exercise took place in Gaza as well.

Yet still, at a time when a counteraction is needed to, at the very least, defend our embassies, Obama's essentially unresponsive. What leadership...

PolicyMic: Many people don’t want to believe it, but our president is either incredibly naïve, or willfully ignorant as to the enemies that the United States has around the world. Yes, he has used an aggressive drone strategy against Al-Qaeda insurgents, and yes, he has actively worked to continue smashing that radical organization's infrastructure. Still, when it comes to what is happening now in the Middle East and North Africa right now, President Obama’s response shows that he just doesn't get it.

And Jennifer Rubin writes in the Washington Post, "The images of American flags burning and the deaths of Americans at the hands of jihadists will change the perception of American influence in the region in the eyes of Americans, our allies and our foes. The administration has a full-blown crisis on its hands, and as yet, there is no sign it knows what to do about it."
