Obama guts work requirements from welfare reform

Obama's working hard to make sure many aren't...especially those on welfare.

HotAir: The landmark welfare reform law President Bill Clinton signed in 1996 helped move nearly 3 million families off the government dole — the result of federal work requirements that promoted greater self-reliance.

Yesterday the Obama administration gutted those federal work rules, ignoring the will of Congress by issuing a policy directive that allows the Department of Health and Human Services to waive the work requirements for the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program. “The result is the end of welfare reform,” wrote Robert Rector and Kiki Bradley of The Heritage Foundation.

...more dictates via executive fiat, waiving parts of law that aren't permitted to be waived or rewritten & putting all those families, and likely more, back on the government dole. And for what? Well, to increase the dependent Democrat voter rolls of course. So now, for his benefit, responsible welfare reform is over. As Rush just stated, "All you have to do now is sit on your ass, and we'll call that work, and you'll get your welfare." And they feigned outrage when Gingrich called Obama the 'food stamp president'...HA!
