Further vindication of the National Security Five

A month ago, we were tipped off to the FBI's investigation into at least 100 suspected Islamic extremist who've infiltrated our military, of which at least a dozen cases were considered 'serious'. NPR broke the story, and both CNN & FOX reported on it...

Here's an excerpt from that NPR report:

The FBI and Department of Defense call these cases "insider threats." They include not just active and reserve military personnel but also individuals who have access to military facilities such as contractors and close family members with dependent ID cards.

Officials would not provide details about the cases and the FBI would not confirm the numbers, but they did say that cases seen as serious could include, among others things, suspects who seem to be planning an attack or were in touch with "dangerous individuals" who were goading them to attack.

Not only are branches of the administration unable to call them terrorist threats (opting instead for 'insider threats'), but I wonder if McCain, Rogers, Boehner, the rest of the House leadership & RINO Senators actually caught the part of that report a month ago about those having "access to military facilities such as contractors and close family members with dependent ID cards," of which they're now attacking the National Security Five over?

And now on Wednesday, DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano tells Congress that "we have to add more nuance" to who is and is not considered a terrorist, particularly when they become a part of an elected political party. We'll call them "guests." Unbelievable.

And so if Napolitano "knows of no such intention," by any of these "guests" to infiltrate our government, well then it must be gospel, huh? So, I guess she feels the same about members of Hamas, Hezbollah, and obviously the Muslim Brotherhood? Talk about naiveté (or seemingly ignorance in this case) and pushing political correctness to the max.

Levin points out on Wednesday's program that all of this underscores the questions raised by Bachmann, Gohmert and the other three Republicans about possible ties between the Muslim Brotherhood and our government, yet the Republican leadership continue to act as though these five are being irrational. Again, what's there to hide?

"Those five, they've been proven right again," says Levin. LISTEN to his integral discussion over at theRightScoop!

Not only have those five been proven right again, but another leg has been kicked out from under the inexcusable attacks of congressional RINOs led by McCain and Boehner.

ADDENDUM I: John Bolton joins Levin, Gingrich, Andy McCarthy and many others who think the attacks launched by McCain and Boehner on the five are absurd...

After explaining the absolute necessity of security clearance procedures in assuring that those working in sensitive areas of our government are "entirely loyal to the United States," however irritating, intrusive or inconvenient they might be, to which he himself has been subjected to innumerable counts, John Bolton says, "that's just too bad" if some have a problem with them, and goes on to defend Bachmann and the four others who are being attacked by members of their own party: "What is wrong with raising the question? Why is even asking whether we're living up to our standards, a legitimate area of congressional oversight, why has that generated this criticism? I'm just mystified by it."

ADDENDUM II: I knew Allen West would eventually be asked about this...and of course, he backs up Bachmann on the Muslim Brotherhood's infiltration...

"...you have to come to an understanding that the Muslim Brotherhood has been in the United States of America for quite some time...so we already know that they're seeking to infiltrate all the different operating systems in the United States of America, political, economical, educational...I've been saying this the whole time...so I think we need to, once again 'oversight', we need to ask the tough questions about what is happening with the infiltration in Washington D.C. When tolerance becomes a one-way street, it will lead to cultural suicide, and that's the road that we're on now."
