Today was the annual March for Life in Washington DC. According to news reports, thousands turned out in the cold weather to March on Washington and protest abortion. According to the USA Today, Patrick Kelly, chairman of the march told a large crowd at the National Mall “We may be freezing, but we are freezing for the best cause in the world.”
USA Today also cites that protesters chanted “Hey, hey, ho, ho, abortion has got to go” and “We love babies, yes we do, we love babies, how about you?!” and that the atmosphere was great: “The atmosphere was upbeat, even as their signs whipped in the brutal wind: “Babies are precious”, “#teamlife” and “I am the pro-life generation.”"
