Broken budget, broken promises...just broken

Jake Tapper quite effectively breaks down Obama's $3.8 trillion budget so that every family can understand...and feel the full impact of Obama's growing debt and broken promises.

And if that backwards progression isn't enough, try to follow this Obama crony's circular illogic with his inability to answer a yes or no question!

At a Budget Committee hearing today, OMB Acting Director Jeffrey Zients refused, under direct questioning from Sen. Sessions, to answer whether the president's budget would increase spending over current-law levels. The White House has repeatedly claimed that their budget contains $2.50 in spending cuts for every $1 in tax increases. In truth, the budget plan submitted by the president would increase spending by $1.5 trillion over the next 10 years relative to current projections. Over that time, the federal government will spend a total of $47 trillion, up from $45.5 trillion projected under the already enacted Budget Control Act—producing by the president's own projections an additional $11.2 trillion in gross debt.

(Btw, this guy has 20 years of business experience and worked for several consulting firms, among which included Bain. No, I'm not knocking capitalism, just making an observation on 'experience', particularly as pertains to the touting of a certain GOP candidate, but I digress...)

Tapering off, Weasel Zippers has been exposing more acts of budgetary cluelessness over the past 24 hours:

Unreal: Obama Wants To Increase U.S. Aid To Pakistan To $2.4 Billion…
Obama’s Deficit Spending Over Four Years: $5.17 Trillion, $70k Per Family, $17k Per Person…
Geithner: Spending Cuts Worse Than Tax Increases…
Obama Says Rising Gas Prices Reason To Extend Payroll Tax Cut, Keystone XL Pipeline Unavailable For Comment…

...and there are certainly plenty before, as well as more to come, rest assured. But to cap off the fiscal failure of this President and his budgetless administration, at least remember these two clips: let's title them 'the promise' and 'the excuse'...
