Sorry, but Rubio campaign's sleazy liberal tactics against a solid conservative, leaked to the NY Slimes and elsewhere, will not win Rubio conservative support; neither will his vote against temporarily freezing the influx of people from dangerous and terrorist-infested countries, in lockstep with his Gang of Eight colleagues including McCain and Graham, which clearly endangers our nation. Why is it that Rubio insists on smearing Ted Cruz? Reagan sought a true battle over ideas with Democrats and Republicans which is unlike Rubio. If you can believe it, this Gang of Eight FOOL is now trying to convince the public that he's the conservative to trust when it comes to immigration and national security over Cruz. And he's using the liberal tactics of deception and flat out LYING to get it done...

NYTimes: With help from an allied group that is airing television ads in Iowa, Mr. Rubio is seeking to raise doubts on the right about Mr. Cruz’s toughness on national security — a potentially fatal vulnerability, should Mr. Rubio succeed, amid heightened concerns about terrorism. More quietly, he is trying to muddy the perception that Mr. Cruz is a hard-liner on immigration, asserting that Mr. Cruz supports “legalizing people that are in this country illegally.” ...

Mr. Rubio has taken to tying Mr. Cruz to liberal lightning rods like Senator Chuck Schumer of New York and the American Civil Liberties Union, claiming that Mr. Cruz worked with them “to harm our intelligence programs.” Or that Mr. Rubio is portraying Mr. Cruz as a hypocrite on immigration who backs “a massive expansion” of green cards and of the work visas for foreigners with college degrees and specialized skills.

Levin also spent some time on Monday explaining how Rubio is trying to play each and everyone of us for fools (via TRS)...

But what’s bothering me now is the guy’s not running on his record in the Senate; he’s not running on his positions. Back in Iowa and perhaps New Hampshire he is a fortune, or his PAC is, trashing and lying about Ted Cruz’s record. And I saw him on FOX again do the same thing, that Cruz is weak on immigration, that Cruz is weak on national security and Cruz is weak on defending Israel – now everybody knows that’s false. So they’re cherry picking votes that took place in the Senate in the omnibus spending bills and so forth and among other things, to make that case. …

So they’re going to NOT attack [Cruz] with his actual truthful record but they’re going to pick it to pieces and try and confuse you. And what bothers me about what the Rubio campaign is doing is that’s what liberals do!

Oh, the hypocrisy gets larger. Not only was Rubio the comprehensive immigration reform squish just a few short years back, siding with far Left Corruptocrats Schumer and Durbin, alongside same-sex Senators McCain and Graham, but on Monday, Rubio (alongside far too many Republicans) voted AGAINST the Paul amendment  to prevent the entry of extremists into the United States under the refugee program from these known terrorist-supporting countries. Some national security hawk, huh?

What a maverick.

Looks as if Rubio and others are already a part of the coming bipartisan betrayal on Middle East refugees & visas.

...soon after arriving in Washington, Rubio decided to throw in with these politicians – including John McCain and Lindsey Graham and take an active leadership role in the Gang of Eight fiasco. As he runs for the Republican presidential nomination, Rubio has attempted to redefine his position on immigration yet again, resulting in his utter incoherence on the subject.

Moreover, Rubio’s views on foreign policy are also more in line with McCain-Graham pseudo-conservativism. It is a kind of naïve and radical interventionism, involving endless demands for American ground forces, that President Ronald Reagan would never have supported – and did not. ...

But my commentary here is not intended as a thorough analysis of immigration and foreign policies, which may come in a later essay. This is a friendly warning to Marco Rubio and his campaign donors, advisers, and consultants that they cannot wash away some of Rubio’s less than stellar legislative actions and related positions and pronouncements by embracing and unleashing Saul Alinsky-type tactics against Ted Cruz or other conservatives. Such unprincipled ambition has not and will not go unnoticed by conservatives.

Rather than proudly standing on his own record, and contrasting his positions honestly with those of Cruz, the latter of whom is clearly the more conservative and anti-establishment candidate, Rubio and his surrogates have launched a propaganda campaign against Cruz in a deceitful attempt to distort his record.

Obama’s terrorism speech was about nothing more than separating ISIS from Islam

One of the purposes of the speech last night was to separate ISIS from Islam, and he did it right off the bat near the top.

Remember that one time when Obama compassionately addressed the nation about an Islamo-Nazi attack on American civilians without feeling the need to defend Islam? Yeah, me neither...

TRS: Obama convened a national address tonight because apparently someone shoved some newspapers in his face on Friday to tell him to get off his ass and talk about the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil since 9/11. And of course he spent all that time defending Islam, because the first priority of this administration, just like his Attorney General revealed, is to defend Islam.

TRS: On Mark Levin’s radio show tonight he responded to a clip of Obama lecturing Americans on how we should reject discrimination and not be bigoted toward Muslims and such after the recent San Bernardino terrorist attack…and Levin was livid.

"How dare you talk to us this way Barack Obama! Don’t you know we’re the greatest people on the face of the earth?! That’s why all the world’s people try and come to this country. Don’t you know that we go anywhere to fight for liberty and security, one hell hole to the other, defending people who shoot us in the back?! We don’t need your damn lectures! There’s something seriously wrong with you! You don’t speak down to us this way!"

On Monday’s Mark Levin Show, Truman used to say “the buck stops here” but not with President Obama. Obama is a fraud when it comes to defending America from the ISIS terrorist threat. There will be more attacks because Obama and Democrats refuse to acknowledge the terrorist and radical Islamic threat. Gun control, no fly lists, the NSA metadata collection is all nonsense. None of this would have stopped San Bernardino terrorists despite the leftist claim that they are effective measures against would be terrorists. They refuse to take some crucial steps that would limit the carnage, including lawful profiling, border security and strict immigration limits. Also, Obama is using Islamic and CAIR propaganda to say that Muslims will be victims of antimuslim hate. However, recent statistics show that America has a bigger problem with anti-Semitism than hatred of Muslims. Instead, the President should address hatred of Jews and should look at Muslim countries to find hate crimes against Muslims as they have a greater number.

So it took this president the entire weekend to admit to the charge of terrorism in the San Bernardino massacre, only because that terminology would finally provide an opportunity to devise a separation between fundamentalist Islam and this spontaneous jihad, tolerance for policy.

His sympathies with a religiously dressed-up ideology won't allow him to marry the two, because supposedly Islam is Peace or something...

Make no mistake: The tolerance message was why Obama really wanted to deliver this speech.

Oh, and what about Obama's insistence on calling them "ISIL" unlike everyone else who says ISIS? Well, he just says that to further insult Israel...

"ISIS stands for the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq, or Iraq and Syria, that’s the I-S, and ISIL, the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant includes more than Iraq and Syria. It would include Israel, which, to these people, Israel is a fraud. Israel doesn’t deserve to be there. That’s all Palestine and that’s what I think is behind the pronunciation, this insistence that it be called ISIL. He’s the only one that does it. I mean, others in the Regime do. Even the media calls it ISIS, but he sticks with ISIL.

I think he’s got a different audience for the term. I don’t think he’s talking to the American people. I think he’s talking to Iran. We just heard Walid Phares say that Obama’s linkage here is not to oppose ISIL because Iran supports ISIL, and it’s all to do with the sectarian violence between the Sunnis and the Shi’ites and the fact that Iran capitalizes on the sectarian violence, does not want it solved because they hope to end up controlling the entire Levant — uh, sorry — region. Didn’t mean to say that."

One might ask: how many people will the Muslims have to shoot before the Left realizes that the Muslim doctrines telling them God wants them to shoot people is the source of the problem, and not the lack of a government-enforced static global climate system? How long until they wake up? . . .

How long until the Left wake up? The answer is: NEVER.

The Left will never wake up to reality for precisely the reason that Leftism is a mental system of excuses and psychological tricks and traps meant to allow the Leftist to escape from reality.

Always a FIRST for everything: Senate FINALLY approves repeal of Obamacare

Not to get too enthusiastic, but this is somewhat of a milestone considering the state of Congress and both parties...

TheBlaze: The Senate voted Thursday evening for the first time ever to repeal President Barack Obama’s signature health care law, passing the measure 52-47.

The bill will now head to the House, where it should win easy approval from the Republican majority.

Congress will then send the measure, which also strips federal funding for Planned Parenthood, to Obama who will veto it.

This marks the first time the Republican controlled Congress has ever sent a bill to repeal Obamacare to the president’s desk.

In a statement, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), who has been relentless in his efforts to repeal the Affordable Care Act, said the vote represented a “significant step towards repealing every word of Obamacare.”

“Since before my first day in office, I pledged to do everything within my power to repeal Obamacare,” he said. “And over the last three years, I’ve worked day and night to do exactly that, sometimes to the dismay of those in Washington.”

“This bill repeals as much of that failed law as we can under arcane Senate rules and the narrow guidelines of the budget,” Cruz added. “I am also encouraged that this bill prohibits taxpayer funds from going to abortion-providers. This bill is a substantial improvement over the original House bill, and I’m grateful to Senate conservatives and Senate leadership for joining me in making it so.”

Of course Obama will veto it, and Senate Republicans don't have enough votes to overturn a presidential veto. Nonetheless, we FINALLY witness a glimpse of courage from Republicans (keep following Cruz's lead!) to deliver this to Obama's desk, putting the ball in his court. Let's see if the GOP can keep it there with constant, subsequent efforts to repeal Obamacare until this imposter is out of office!

Another immediate show of faith would be to NOT allow December 11th to become a date that will live in infamy!

Obama bypassing ISIS to go a-gun-grabbin'

As news breaks this morning that directly links the San Bernardino shooters to fundamentalist Islamic terrorism...

So not only were these two jihadis watching ISIS propaganda videos, but apparently the female jihadi pledged allegiance to ISIS during the actual attack...

Well you can thank Obama partly for this, for both helping create ISIS in 2012 and for not taking out ISIS when he had the chance in 2014 and earlier this year. Yes, the blood of these innocent Americans are in part on his hands and it cannot be denied.

...it's obvious that our federal government while under the reign of Barack Obama has no intention of preventing this kind of horror. None!

Instead of taking responsibility for what’s going on at our borders, undermining our local and state law enforcement or eviscerating our military and intelligence services, they attack the gun show loophole as the major problem that needs fixing in order to save us.

Rather, the Obama White House sees this as an opportunity to pursue an agenda item, so they're advancing the narrative that terrorists will stop attacking if only we pass gun control laws...

The Obama White House is essentially arguing that passing more gun laws which disarm law-abiding citizens will somehow make jihadists, who have access to international terrorist contacts and back-door weapons smuggling rings, less determined and less capable of carrying out massacres. Right, because it worked great in Paris didn’t it?

So within days of the San Bernardino jihadists' rampage, Obama isn't concerned with how to confront ISIS on our own soil (as his plans continue to usher in as many unassimilated, ill-vetted noncitizens as possible). No, he delves right into concocting and masterminding with his executive pen to reinterpret existing law that will ban private sales at gun shows, which has nothing to do with any of this...

Obama is going after private gun sales at gun shows once again, and this time with an executive order designed to ‘reinterpret existing law’. That’s right, it doesn’t matter if the law doesn’t allow for Obama’s plans to ban private gun sales. He’ll just wave his magic pen and reinterpret the law to do whatever he wants...

...this executive order would have had no effect on this last terrorist attack or many of them for that matter. Even the Newtown shooter who killed all those children used a legally purchased gun.

And the ones that weren’t purchased legally…well, they were obtained illegally anyway. How do you stop that?

Another useless proposal designed to take our gun rights away by a dictator wannabe. That’s all this is.

Agenda and party collective, first, second and third. Obama would bypass dealing with ISIS and securing the citizenry against external threat to go a-gun-grabbin' within, infringing our unalienable Right to keep and bear Arms.

The law-abiding citizen isn't the problem here, but that's exactly who these oppressive, draconian laws would affect the most (e.g., the gun-free zone those innocent people were murdered in!). But with an increasingly lawless, iron-fisted, centralized government, I suppose the despotic powers that be would find the People more of a threat to their power than the infiltration of our enemies directly targeting the citizenry.

See something, say nothing? The disastrous results of that appears to have occurred in San Bernardino yesterday...

Patheos: A shooting in California happened suddenly and without warning.

Except this:

A man who has been working in the area said he noticed a half-dozen Middle Eastern men in the area in recent weeks, but decided not to report anything since he did not wish to racially profile those people.

“We sat around lunch thinking, ‘What were they doing around the neighborhood?’” he said. “We’d see them leave where they’re raiding the apartment.”

For a while there was an oft quoted motto from Homeland Security, “If you see something, say something.”

Of course, that was before Clockmed and political correctness shamed more into silence...

NR: This is “Clock Boy” thinking. “If you see something, say something” has been transformed into “if you see something — especially suspicious Middle Easterners — say nothing.” Otherwise you might be the focus of a social-media shame-storm and a multi-million-dollar lawsuit. In this case, saying nothing meant the authorities didn’t discover Syed Farook’s home-based “IED factory” until after 14 Americans were dead and 17 were injured.

Let’s be clear: “If you see something, say something” doesn’t violate any person’s rights, and there is nothing wrong with acting on a hunch that something feels a bit off. Political correctness has nothing to do with reality, and often the best eyes and ears for law enforcement are the people who know a neighborhood and are able to recognize unusual events. If ISIS or al-Qaeda established a program designed to decrease American vigilance, they couldn’t do any better than the Left’s hashtagging and public shaming. Responsible citizens should ignore the scolds and have the courage to do the right thing.

When assimilated jihadis are emboldened and enabled by political correctness to execute the unthinkable upon a populace, and those within that same populace fear the left's 'RACIST!' labeling and banter over securing the safety of their fellow citizens, then we've lost more than liberty, folks.

First on the docket, an impossible homework assignment in the form of 2,360 pages of the Highway and Education bills...

CR: Republicans have essentially telegraphed the message to Obama that they will not stand in his way to fundamentally transform America on a single policy issue. But if they are unwilling to stop Obama, can they at least not preemptively sabotage the leverage of the next (Republican) president from implementing conservative policy changes?

On Thursday, Republicans plan to pass S. 1177, the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). This is the conference report on the bill we reported on earlier this year, a bill that would essentially reauthorize federally-mandated testing through FY 2020. ...

What is most offensive is that both the education and highway bills reauthorize federalization of these state functions through the entire first term of the next president’s tenure. If Republicans have no intention of fighting for conservatives now and promoting federalism reforms, can they at least allow the reauthorization to expire during the next president’s term so we can aspire to something better?

The fact that both of these bills are over 1,000 pages is itself a good reason to devolve full authority over education and transportation policy to the states.

The congressional Republicans, led by House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, are once again proving that it would be better to have no Republican Party than one controlled by enemies within. A strike out is always preferable to a ground ball into a double play.

Next up is another crummy omnibus spending bill which reveals the secret House GOP leadership strategy of defeatism...

CR: House and Senate Republican leaders are preparing for yet another surrender to President Obama.

Establishment members are derisively referring to some Republicans as the “Hope Yes, Vote No” caucus in an attempt to shame them into voting for a giant appropriations bill they have not been allowed to so much as read, let alone help write.

As the old saying goes, the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Now that Congress is back in session, Republican leaders in the House and Senate are working behind closed doors to put to bed a massive $1.15 trillion “omnibus” appropriations bill. NO CONSERVATIVE POLICY

Don’t expect any conservative victories to come from this bill. Congress is once again forfeiting the power of the purse. As Conservative Review’s Amanda Carpenter and Daniel Horowitz report, the only thing that the Republican Establishment (i.e. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell) wants to fight for is a provision empowering party elites to spend more money than Tea Party challengers in contested primaries.

It appears that Speaker Ryan has scheduled some head pat sessions where he can let conservatives argue for conservative policy, before patting them on the head and ignoring their advice. If conservatives fall for the “Head Pat” strategy, they are fools.

Speaker Ryan promised conservatives regular order and a new way of doing business in Washington. The early results are underwhelming.

And the stubble is not making it any cooler to cave before your constituency.

ADDENDUM: Oh look, half of 85,000 'refugees' from terrorist hotbeds are bound for the U.S., and what are GOP leaders doing about it?

WND: Despite all the tough talk by Speaker Paul Ryan and GOP leaders in Congress about Syrian refugees and the need for better screening, the true intent of those leaders will be laid bare on Dec. 11.

That’s the day that a catch-all “omnibus” budget bill is scheduled to be voted on in the House.

In that bill there is expected to be full funding of President Obama’s refugee resettlement program, which costs $1.2 billion annually to bring in 85,000 refugees from more than two dozen countries around the world. About half of them will come from countries with active jihadist movements including 10,000 from Syria, about 8,000 from Somalia, nearly 10,000 from Iraq, and several thousand more from Burma, Uzbekistan, Bosnia, Democratic Republic of Congo and Afghanistan.

The United Nations will choose which refugees from what countries get to come to America at the U.S. taxpayer’s expense. The nationalities of these refugees will be concealed in most cases until after they arrive in the more than 180 cities and towns across the U.S.

The House passed a bill, the America SAFE Act, by a lopsided vote two weeks ago that calls for a “pause” in the resettlements until the White House can provide certain assurances that the refugees have been properly vetted.

But that’s a smokescreen as the SAFE Act won’t stop a single refugee from arriving in any of those 180 cities, says Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., who is chairman of the Senate’s subcommittee on immigration and the national interest.

Of the 132 Syrian refugees admitted to the U.S. since the attack on Paris, all of them have been Muslim. Not a single Syrian Christian has been allowed in over that period through the U.N.’s refugee program, government databases show.

There is only one way to stop the refugees, as the governors of more than two dozen states have said they want them stopped.

Last week, Victor Davis Hanson expressed how it's looking as though Obama's final year may just be the most damaging to our nation and its people, and thus warns us, "Hold on. We haven’t seen anything yet."

At home, Obama feels liberated now that he is free from further elections. At a time in which the FBI is using elite surveillance teams to track at least 48 high risk ISIS suspects domestically (Umm, how did they get here? I thought we had a vetting process?), Obama unveils more than 2,000 regulations just BEFORE Thanksgiving...

Breitbart: President Obama proposed 2,224 new regulations just before Thanksgiving, 144 of which are each expected to cost Americans $100 million or more. Senior Research Fellow and expert in regulatory and telecommunications for the Heritage Foundation James Gattuso reviewed the “economically significant” regulations.

The administration is required to released proposed regulations twice a year, but Gattuso points out that the Obama administration has a habit of doing it around holidays when most Americans are focused on family.
