Tech tyrants takeover (UPDATES)

“If you want a vision of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face — forever.” ~ George Orwell on socialist tyranny
Both conservatives and non-conservatives are speaking out on Big Tech's tyrannical move to silence both the sitting President, his supporters, and anyone who does not conform to their political agenda. Already, Twitter has permanently banned President Trump, following Facebook's lead, and Google has purged the Parler app, with Apple now threatening to follow suit. This attack on the First Amendment is unfathomable. Did you ever think you'd see such an unprecedented crackdown on free speech in America?

Well it's here...
Friday night amid the far-left and Big Tech-led purging of anyone opposed to their Orwellian future... Tucker Carlson guided viewers through what he called a night unlike anything “in my lifetime” that “we’re going to look back on” as Big Tech carried out “an unprecedented crackdown” on our “most basic civil liberties.”
"It's unprecedented, and it will have consequences. This will cause extremism. Actions taken to suppress extremism will cause it. Are those unintended consequences? We don't know. It is very clear what's happening and what will happen. ... They are in control now. Silicon Valley oligarchs are more powerful than the President of the United States, and they want you to know it."
And in a crazy turn of events, Carlson was in the midst of reading Trump’s statement from the @POTUS account about the suspension of @realdDonaldTrump when “Twitter took that down as we read it. Listen, never been a night like this in my lifetime.”

As the deputy editor at Spiked said, "...with the banning of the 45th president, illiberal leftists have officially surrendered any right to complain when the power and moral authority they have handed to Big Tech is wielded against those they happen to agree with. If this can happen to Donald Trump, it can really happen to anyone. But our supposed betters in politics and the media are apparently still too dense to see that." Yup!

I'm absolutely on board with the Prez's idea of building out his/our own platform to combat this flagrant attack on free speech. In the meantime, there is another action we can all take: LEAVE. And here's your current alternatives to do so... No matter how difficult the Tech Tyrants try to make it (and they will continue), there is freedom out there. Let's grab it and keep marching ahead, Patriots!

UPDATE I: And the rotten Apple doesn't fall far from the tree... ri-damn-diculous...

Click on the link to see the Orwellian speak that Apple sent to Parler, but here's Parler CEO John Matze's response:

Apple will be banning Parler until we give up free speech, institute broad and invasive policies like Twitter and Facebook and we become a surveillance platform by pursuing guilt of those who use Parler before innocence. They claim it is due to violence on the platform. The community disagrees as we hit number 1 on their store today. The same day “Hang Mike Pence”, a disgusting violent suggestion, was trending nationally on Twitter. Displaying the horrible double standard Apple and their big tech pack apply to the community. Apple, a software monopoly, provides no alternatives to installing apps on your phone other then their store. We do not own our phones, Apple simply rents them to us. Apple, Google and the rest of the anti-competitive pack of big tech tyrants coordinate their moves and work together to stifle competition in the marketplace. More details about our next plans coming soon as we have many options.

Earlier, Matze had covered some info regarding the Google and Amazon cowardice as well...

Google never had a conversation with us about an objective standard. Our position is that all the content they wanted us to remove was already removed or existed only on Twitter. Their employees met with multiple people on our team a week ago via zoom. After they realized the call was being recorded they asked for clarity then they claimed they didn’t know how to properly use zoom and asked to reschedule the call. They never did and we have not spoken since. We first heard about their decision in the press.

Do my former co-workers at AWS realize calls to violence are against our TOS... What are you trying to accomplish? Right now people are suppose to come together, calls to cancel people and remove free speech will radicalize people more. - Customer loyalty isn’t built when you call to drop their services - Ownership for your ideas. Do you have any evidence to back your claim besides screenshots off Twitter which don’t exist on Parler? - Are you Right? Is this the correct decision? - Does this call to cancel show a willingness or desire to learn or be curious? - Does this earn more customer trust? - How many of you have accounts with Parler and have any first hand experiences? This doesn’t show you are diving deep. - Delivering results and solving problems. In this case, working with your clients to solve problems together.

And look what they all helped achieve (I only wished he would've extended the #1 finger their way)...

Parler is number one!

Folks, this is not only fascism, pretty sure this tramples on antitrust, which should point to legal action.

UPDATE II: Damn, as soon as I posted the above updates, this one came down from the Amazon cowards... and again, Matze responds...

Sunday (tomorrow) at midnight Amazon will be shutting off all of our servers in an attempt to completely remove free speech off the internet. There is the possibility Parler will be unavailable on the internet for up to a week as we rebuild from scratch. We prepared for events like this by never relying on amazons proprietary infrastructure and building bare metal products. We will try our best to move to a new provider right now as we have many competing for our business, however Amazon, Google and Apple purposefully did this as a coordinated effort knowing our options would be limited and knowing this would inflict the most damage right as President Trump was banned from the tech companies. This was a coordinated attack by the tech giants to kill competition in the market place. We were too successful too fast. You can expect the war on competition and free speech to continue, but don’t count us out. #speakfreely

Don't you fret, though, Parler will be back up with a renewed resilience...

We are the closest thing to competition Facebook or Twitter has seen in many years. I believe Amazon, Google, Apple worked together to try and ensure they don’t have competition. They will NOT win! We are the worlds last hope for free speech and free information. What they are doing is unprecedented, unfounded and absolutely disgusting. Shameful. This is a battle against all of us. Liberals, conservatives, atheists, Christians, black, white, etc. They want to keep their monopoly over speech. They want us fighting. They don’t want us working together. They don’t want us working with each other, they want us hating one another. Parley - brings two people with conflicting ideas together. Our mission is free speech, democracy and us the people having the power. The elite don’t want us to be free, they want hate division and power!

Think we touched on a deep state nerve? This is bigger than shutting down a competitor. Really seems like they're trying to hide something... might it have something to do with fraudulent elections? Rest assured, they're pushing for a reaction, then they'll act surprised when unintended consequences come a'knockin'.
UPDATE III: This is truly wrong and utter bullshit that it is being done to an American business by other Americans...

Parler CEO John Matze said today that his social media company has been dropped by virtually all of its business alliances after Amazon, Apple and Google ended their agreements with the social media service.

“Every vendor from text message services to email providers to our lawyers all ditched us too on the same day,” Matze said today on Fox News.

Matze conceded that the bans could put the company out of business while raising free speech issues, calling it “an assault on everybody.”

“They all work together to make sure at the same time we would lose access to not only our apps, but they’re actually shutting all of our servers off tonight, off the internet,” Matze said. “They made an attempt to not only kill the app, but to actually destroy the entire company. And it’s not just these three companies. Every vendor from text message services to email providers to our lawyers all ditched us too on the same day.”
If you don't think this is a digital night of the long knives, then you're fooling yourself.

UPDATE IV: Matze filled in FoxBusiness viewers Monday morning on the continued difficulties in searching for a host to provide a new home for Parler...

Meanwhile, Parler is taking legal action against Amazon. The lawsuit covers antitrust violation, breach of contract and unlawful business interference, but also asks a federal judge to order Amazon to reinstate the platform. I'm sure returning to Amazon is not Parler's preferred option; however, other potential hosts aren't stepping up for fear of Apple, Google and Amazon blackballing them as well. Dastardly bastards.

UPDATE V: WOOHOO! A week later, and Parler is taking it steady upon its inevitable return with a new host...
