Speaking of the latter, if you missed last night's program, Levin had a great segment exploring Pelosi's latest words of bewilderment...and the expansion of government's attack on YOU!
theRightScoop: Responding to Pelosi attacking the Democrat straw man “trickle down economics” that she likes to pin on Republicans, Levin blasted the idea and said that this isn’t about trickle down economics, but rather it’s about an iron-fisted authoritarian centralized government imposing it’s will on a free people. And that pretty much sums up the Democrat party in one line.
"When they talk about trickle down economics, it has nothing to do with Romney. He's running for president. It's YOU who they're attacking. When they diminish the value of the individual who's successful, it's YOU who they're attacking. When they go on and on about the government can't afford not to take more of your money, it's YOU who they're attacking. Which is why we have 15% effective unemployment in this country. Which is why we have foreclosure piled upon foreclosure in this country; the housing market can't pick up. Which is why individuals, small businesses, big business are holding back their money; they don't want to invest it right now, 'cause they're scared to death that they'll lose it. This economy is on its back, it harms individuals, it harms families, it's harming our country. This isn't about 'trickle down'. This isn't about 'spread the wealth'. This isn't about 'fairness' and 'justice'. It's about an iron-fisted authoritarian centralized government imposing it’s will on a free people!"
'Trickle down economics, you know, for the millionaires and billionaires' coming out of the mouth of a millionaire. So spot on! Be sure to check out the audio of this full segment...it's a POWERFUL statement for the People and against Big Government and their crony capitalist cohorts, if they can even be accurately described as that, which is questionable.
