CNN: Angry protesters climbed the walls of the U.S. Embassy in Cairo on Tuesday and hauled down the American flag, replacing it with a black flag with Islamic emblems.
Umm, how peculiar...those look a lot like Al Qaeda flags...
The incident prompted U.S. Embassy guards to fire off a volley of warning shots as a large crowd gathered outside, apparently upset about the production of a film thought to insult the Prophet Mohammed, said CNN producer Mohammed Fahmy, who was on the scene.
Earlier reports mentioned something about a Dutch film, but another report says the film was produced by expatriate members of Egypt's Christian minority currently residing in the United States. Oh, could they be talking about members of all those Coptic Christians that have been brutalized in Egypt since Mubarak was removed and the religion of peace took over?
Others expressed more general grievances about U.S. policy, chanting anti-American slogans and holding up bits of a shredded American flag.
Think there's any coincidence that this happened on today of all days? Naaa, couldn't be...but can't help thinking of this either...

And in other non-Egyptian news, looks like Islamist gunmen have attacked the U.S. Consulate in Libya, killing the U.S. ambassador & American staffers in the attack, wounding others, and then burning the building to the ground...all done on 9/11 no less.
Could you imagine if these emboldened actions were taken anytime prior to the Obama regime taking office, particularly within a few short years of the 9/11 attacks? These sieges would have been stamped out quickly and unapologetically...
