Anatomy of a disastrous Democrat convention

Irony has a funny way of playing out. After all the hullabaloo over those evil Republicans holding their convention while one of our lighter hurricanes in recent years rolled through, and all the demagoguery over a pro-American platform (fiscal restraint, economic responsibility, American exceptionalism and moral values led by the principles of Providence...oh, the humanity!), the DNC freak show rolled into town, and every time you didn't think it could get any worse...it did. It was one slow rumble throughout its disastrous progression, leading up to the implosive renomination of Barack Hussein Obama II. So now that the dust is settling over Charlotte (sorry, guys), let's review the smoldering remnants left to better understand the anatomy of such a disastrous convention...

Right out of the gate, we had the Debbie Blabbermouth Schultz lie-my-ass-off show...

...followed by 'we were for 'God' and 'Jerusalem' before we were against it...but not really' programming...

...then more DWS alternate reality...

But let's not skip over the speeches...or actually, let's! Rather, I think a man who I don't always agree with, absolutely nailed each night's keynote...starting with Mrs. First Lady 'first-time-I-was-proud-of-my-country' food-fascist...

...then THE one-man war on women, impeached former President BJ Clinton...

...and then finally, the renomination speech of Mr. 'you didn't build thatempty suit that can be summed up in another four word phrase: 'I need more time'...

A far cry from the Hope & Change of yesteryear...and speaking of yesteryear, there was plenty o' Carteresque mimicry to boot!

Considering today's jobs report, you'd have thought he would have discussed unemployment...but nope. He didn't even talk about his signature efforts — ObamaCare, the stimulus package, and Dodd-Frank. Instead, Obama just offered another run-of-the-mill SOTU speech that fizzled out the Democratic convention.

1...2...3 strikes your out!

I have to believe that Americans aren't still lounging in the afterglow with blinders on anymore...

"No society is guaranteed perpetual existence. But I have to believe that the American people are not ready for servitude, for if this is our destiny, and the destiny of our children, I cannot conceive that any people, now or in the future, will successfully resist it for long. I have to believe that this generation of Americans will not condemn future generations to centuries of misery and darkness." ~ Mark Levin from 'Ameritopia'

Everyone can see these agents of government dependency, and the party platform that supports it, for exactly what it is...now take a stand in November against this singularly assured destruction from within.
