S.C. Democratic Chairman Dick Harpootlian, never a loss for a quick quip, tossed a few stinging one-liners at the Wednesday delegation breakfast.
On Gov. Nikki Haley participating in daily news briefings in a basement studio at the NASCAR Hall of Fame: “She was down in the bunker a la Eva Braun.”
Huh, I guess so much for that war on women narrative too? Anyway, making the Nazi/Hitler comparison in reference to Republicans (particularly the conservative among them) seems to be a re-emerging theme from this Democratic convention. On Tuesday, a top California Democrat likened Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan to Nazi Joseph Goebbels; and then Wednesday, a top Kansas Democrat likened Ryan to Adolf Hitler. But you see, we're supposedly the uncivil ones...unreal...but unfortunately, not unbelievable considering the their disdain.
