America still doesn't really know this man

Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me

Post-racial president? Not so much. Anti-colonialist, marxist, class & racially divisive clap trap? You betcha...

TheDailyCaller: In a video obtained exclusively by The Daily Caller, then-presidential candidate Barack Obama tells an audience of black ministers, including the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, that the U.S. government shortchanged Hurricane Katrina victims because of racism.

The racially charged and at times angry speech undermines Obama’s carefully-crafted image as a leader eager to build bridges between ethnic groups. For nearly 40 minutes, using an accent he almost never adopts in public, Obama describes a racist, zero-sum society, in which the white majority profits by exploiting black America. The mostly black audience shouts in agreement. The effect is closer to an Al Sharpton rally than a conventional campaign event.

The DC then compares Obama’s praise of Wright with other public statements the then-Democratic candidate made distancing himself from the radical pastor, and inevitably (with the aid of the media, both then and now) diverting and burying the controversy:

And here's the full monty:

It's not a stretch to reflect on Stanley Kurtz's book in this particular speech when Obama's encouraging spreading the wealth around to pay for more urban programs, setting up more class boundaries between the suburbs and the city. Neither is it's difficult to draw parallels between what D'Souza showed us with Obama's anti-colonialist views explored in the 2016 film and the race-baiting divisiveness heard here. D'Souza introduced us to the man behind the mask probably more than we'd ever understood before with that film...for me, for many, this rediscovered speech further solidifies the fact that America still doesn't really know this man.

It was a mistake the first time...it would be insanity to repeat it.

ADDENDUM I: Here's the side-by-side comparison from Hannity's Tuesday evening show...

ADDENDUM II: And in his best god-reverb voice, Obama displays his class warfare artistry from the very beginning in this newly unearthed 2002 MLK speech...sounding more like Malcolm X!

"The philosophy of nonviolence only makes sense if the powerful can be made to recognize themselves in the powerless. ...rich people are all for nonviolence. Why wouldn’t they be? They’ve got what they want. They want to make sure people don’t take their stuff."
