Hillary Clinton breaks the law, gets people who work for her killed, lies to the American people...and she's still a media darling? How is that possible???
WAKE UP, America! Excellent monologue from Bill Whittle on how not only Hillary skates through what should be damnable hearings and felony charges, but how Obama gets away with similar lawlessness and then some. It's not supposed to be this way!
"Let's just come out and state what we all know to be true. Hillary Clinton will either walk scot-free for treasonous graft and criminal incompetence, or she will be indicted and lose the nomination solely on the personal whim of Barack Hussein Obama and the merits of the deal that the Clintons can cut with his majesty in order to save her skin. Everybody knows this is true. Everybody knows that justice in the absence of a press corp is now at the whim of this president, and the only reason that she's being prosecuted in the first place is because it pleases Barack Obama to do so.
You know, there's a credible story that she went to him in a rage and told him, "Call off your f***ing dogs, Barack!" I can remember a time when they weren't his f***ing dogs at all. I can remember when the f***ing dogs could not be called off because the FBI and the Justice Department were beholden to enforcing the law of the land and not the whims of the emperor."
"So, how does Barack Obama get away with the same kind of autocratic lawlessness that we fought a revolution against? Because he's black, that's why. Any other questions I can help you with? He is the ascended wet dream image of every progressive reporter and editor and publisher or any of these other idol-worshipping adolescent girls that make up what was once the proud profession of newspaper men, and he's walking kryptonite to spineless, gutless Republican cowards who would violate their oath of office, and abandon their souls too apparently, before being willing to be called a racist for daring to oppose this lawless, naked power grab."
Bill wraps this up with the kicker:
"You know, we fought a Revolution, not because of taxation, but because of taxation without representation. It was the shear imperial lawlessness of it that forced our ancestors to take up arms against their own illegitimate government. And I'm beginning to wonder if we might not have just one more left within us, and I'm not alone."
Unfortunately, if directions aren't changed, shifted or reversed in some significant manner, unbridled and raw history's proven how empires rise and fall. Hint: It doesn't end in utopia.
ADDENDUM: There were lots of smoking guns today, but Jim Jordan had to have topped the cake with this one in particular, yet the media yawned. And much like Mrs. Clinton, they continue to brush aside the truth for any number of distractions, and as a result, lawlessness prevails...
TRS: This is amazing. Hillary Clinton told her family via email, the president of Libya, and the Prime Minister of Egypt that she KNEW the attack in Benghazi was a terrorist attack and not a protest over a video. But she told the American people it was a protest over a video.
If this miscreant is allowed to become the Democratic nominee, and God Forbid our next president, then our democracy will have truly failed its people.
ADDENDUM II: Limbaugh further explains the predictable 'I told you so' on Friday morning...
"When telling the TRUTH is the effort and what takes work, yesterday was a piece of cake!"
"Have you heard, by the way, ladies and gentlemen? A story from UK Guardian: Nearly 70 hostages facing imminent mass execution have been rescued from an Islamic State jail in a raid by Kurdish troops and US Special Forces in northern Iraq. The operation took place yesterday. It led to the first American combat death in Iraq since 2011.” Oh, you didn’t know about this? Oh, you didn’t? You probably thought we don’t have the ability to do this anymore ’cause we didn’t do it in Benghazi.
We had four people pinned down there. We had four people, one of whom thought that help was on the way. We had four people pinned down in a terrorist attack, that we knew about in advance, that Mrs. Clinton and Barack Obama continue in the media to lie about. Yesterday it was said that nothing could have been done. The help, the military was too far away, that Mrs. Clinton couldn’t find a way to communicate with the ambassador. She could talk to Huma any time she wanted. She could talk to Sidney Blumenthal. They could reach her via e-mail. Chris Stevens, the ambassador, couldn’t."
As House Republicans consider dropping yet more of their Obamacare repeal efforts, Sen. Cruz wasn't the only one to remind us of the pledge to repeal Obamacare using reconciliation. Levin reflected on a specific conversation he had over three years ago on his program with the Boehner-endorsed replacement for Speaker, Paul Ryan, on exactly this topic that neither Ryan nor the GOP leadership want to utter these days...
TRS: Paul Ryan was on with Mark Levin to discuss how Obamacare would be repealed, and the budgetary process called reconciliation is the game plan. The nice thing about reconciliation is that it cannot be filibustered, but the down side is it only applies to legislation that has a fiscal impact. That’s why Ryan says that we can definitely repeal 85% of Obamacare because that percentage can easily be done via reconciliation. The remaining regulatory portion of Obamacare may still be included in the budget but that will be debated at the time. Even if it can’t be included Ryan says it would just be meaningless statute after the repeal of the rest of it.
But, he says, we must win the Senate or else we don’t stand a chance of repealing it with Harry Reid running the show.
Catch all that? Reconciliation...repeal 85% of Obamacare...oh, and if they win the Senate!
And now, they won, but not a damn word about it. There's no plan from Ryan, save for a little lip service over the summer, or the rest of the GOP leadership for that matter to pursue reconciliation. On the contrary, they've practically abandoned this legitimate strategy (among many others) and have settled in, just as Levin also warned, to accepting this lawless takeover of healthcare. So in affect, this so-called 'game plan' was another DAMN LIE. Ryan's principles have continued to slip just as Boehner's over the years. And now Ryan wants to be the reluctant new Speaker?
ADDENDUM: Levin also had a stern warning for the Freedom Caucus...
CR: Mark Levin had a warning for the House Freedom Caucus last night. After stories started breaking that the Freedom Caucus was leaning towards supporting Paul Ryan for Speaker, Levin had a short and simple warning for conservatives. Paul Ryan is not a conservative, even though he is a nice guy. Don’t be fooled, don’t vote for Ryan.
UPDATE: Via Mark's show on the following Monday...
If you can repeal 85% of Obamacare, why would you vote for a continuing budget bill that prevents repeal? That’s exactly what Paul Ryan did, which is why there’s no wonder why Conservatives in the House and Senate question Ryan and his record.
Senate Democrats blocked legislation to crack down on sanctuary cities, which would cut off funds or grants from that city. The Republicans have the votes to beat the Democrats, but they don’t have the will power and Mitch McConnell won't suspend the filibuster rule. ~ ML, 10/20/15
In the words of one RedState writer, "This is what having a GOP majority and gutless, go-along-to-get-along leadership in the Senate gets you." McConnell and cronies' fingerprints are all over this setup, vis-à-vis the reinstituted parliamentary rules that Reid abandoned during his tenure, but that McConnell's cowardice maintains in his further efforts to coddle the Obama agenda...
AP: Senate Democrats on Tuesday blocked legislation to crack down on "sanctuary cities" that shield residents from federal immigration authorities, casting the bill as anti-immigration policy...
The 54-45 vote on the measure fell shy of the 60 required to move to final vote on the bill, which Republicans have pushed since the July 1 shooting of Kathryn Steinle in San Francisco. The man charged in the killing, Juan Francisco Lopez Sanchez, was in the country illegally despite a long criminal record and multiple prior deportations. He had been released by San Francisco authorities despite a request from federal immigration authorities to keep him detained.
The bill by Louisiana Sen. David Vitter would punish jurisdictions that don't share immigration information or cooperate with federal requests, blocking them from receiving certain grants and funds.
"Rather than reward cities, we must start enforcing our current immigration laws and strengthen our borders to keep Americans here safe at home," Vitter said.
San Francisco and hundreds of other jurisdictions nationally have adopted policies of disregarding federal immigration requests...
The White House threatened to veto the bill, saying it would jeopardize crucial law enforcement dollars and lead to mistrust between federal and local officials. ...
Congressional Democrats and the Obama administration have said that the best way to get at the problem is a comprehensive immigration overhaul...
Republicans have called for stricter enforcement. The GOP House passed legislation similar to Vitter's bill this summer, which the White House also threatened to veto.
It couldn't be more apparent that this imperial president and his increasingly socialistic party in their efforts to maintain iron-fisted authority through the manipulation of the citizenry are working tirelessly towards a lawless, unfettered incursion of America and her states' sovereignty. Unfortunately, any potential of an opposition party has been neutered by the Republican-in-name-only quisling leadership. This is but another sample of the perversions of law maintained by the one-party elites of the Washington Cartel.
RedState: The idea that cities can create no-go zones for the enforcement of US immigration laws, our own equivalent of Parisian suburbs where the national law does not run, is bizarre. It is doubly bizarre as the Supreme Court has ruled that states and municipalities have to defer to the federal government on this subject. ...
This perversion of our system of laws was brought home when Katie Steinle was gunned down by a five-time deported illegal alien felon sheltering in the sanctuary city of San Francisco. Two Republicans did not vote for the bill... Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), who was presumably off squandering the money some chumps gave him to run for president, and Sen. Mark Kirk (R-IL), who voted with the Democrats.
This type of vote shows why the weak sisters we are perpetually conned into supporting are more of a danger than an asset. Kirk is pooping his drawers at the thought of his upcoming reelection campaign. As a result he has become a voracious, conscienceless PanderBear, who essentially acts as another Democrat senator. Kirk doesn’t realize that to win elections, someone has to vote for him and right now Republicans have no reason to do so. He also needs to realize that Democrat voters will vote for the real Democrat over the fake Democrat every time.
Apparently, Democrats (and some Republicans) not only think illegal aliens take precedent over the safety of American citizens, but their radicalized logic dictates that illegal aliens also matter more than the citizenry when it comes to political snowing. Hence, they take the out-with-the-old-in-with-the-new approach to a revolutionary, unassimilated populace shift. Cheap labor for Repubs; cheap votes for Dems. Replacing We The People with a new citizenry that's accustomed to socialist tyranny.
ADDENDUM: Cruz called out McConnell on Kate's Law Thursday evening while discussing with Bill'O. It's so frustrating to watch how McConnell won’t allow a simple vote on the standalone legislation, yet he allows Senate Democrats to filibuster the bundled bill. Ridiculous...
Folks, I had part of this as an addendum to the previous post, but it's simply TOO IMPORTANT of a message not to reside in its own post.
This is a MUST LISTEN:
TRS: Mark Levin opened his show tonight explaining how the establishment types always come out and trash candidates like Ted Cruz who believe in fighting to win and always support candidates who don’t really believe in liberty. He explains our situation, as only he can, and exposes how they are the true radicals in the party.
On Tusday’s Mark Levin Show, Conservatives are under full attack by the Republican party and now the Bush family. George W Bush is smearing Sen Ted Cruz in ways we’ve never heard him smear the left. He’ll kiss up to Clintons but not Cruz. Why? Because they are not conserrvatives; they believe in big government and want the party to make deals with the left. We need to say enough with the deals. Bipartisanship in the name of insanity is unacceptable. What do we conservatives want from the Republican Party? We want honesty, integriity and a party that stands for the constitution.
How many times must the Karl Rove/FoxNews establishment elite defend the RINO leadership in Congress? Currently, in perpetuity...
Yesterday, Brit Hume suggested that the Boehner/McConnell leadership hadn't surrendered to Obama, but rather just perpetually find themselves in a stalemate with this imperial president...
Levin's respondse to Hume: "You have it REALLY wrong."
TRS: Levin is exactly right that Republicans have surrendered in many ways, perhaps the biggest being that the Senate Republicans gave up their power to block Obama’s horrible Iran deal. He lists several others, but this is probably the worst and one of the best examples of how Republicans constantly concede their own power to Obama.
Surrender is all that Republican leadership knows on the things that really matter. And that’s why they’ve been labeled the ‘surrender caucus’. They are so good at it.
TRS: Some like to criticize Ted Cruz for being too extremist on fighting against the GOP establishment and leadership, but in this short exchange with Chuck Todd, he explains passionately and convincingly why so many are fed up with those in charge of the party.
It is really hard to argue against that, and this is why so many are just not interested in more politicians. Even when we hand them control over the House and the Senate we’re told that they can’t do anything to stop Democrats from seizing more and more power.
What this boils down to is that the real debate isn't conservative vs. moderate, it's party vs. principle.
RedState: As the GOP continues to try to sell Rep. Paul Ryan as an acceptable candidate for Speaker, the battle for the soul of the party continues.
Many have framed it as a conservative vs. moderate ideological struggle. There is certainly a component of that. The problem with merely framing the struggle in ideological terms is that people like Paul Ryan can be viewed as an acceptable alternative because of his reputation as a “conservative” member of the house.
Ryan stands for party, Cruz stands for principle. There is a difference.
The question that the GOP desperately needs to settle in the next political cycle is whether or not the party will elevate and follow party men and women or visionaries and fighters. The GOP used to have a flame of liberty within to light the path forward. This flame championed and protected by visionary leaders like Ronald Reagan, has long since grown cold and the eyes of the GOP power brokers have been hypnotized by the allure of gold and power instead of liberty’s spark.
It is in the chasm between the compliant “yes” men and women of the GOP establishment and the vigorous advocacy of conservative political reforms championed by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and grassroots conservatives that this battle lies.
And when the electorate catches up in the next few weeks, as the mainstream press is already fretting, the moment will come...
Conservatives are under full attack by the Republican party and now the Bush family.
When reporting on the DOJ’s new Domestic Terrorism Counsel, InfoWars noted that, historically, the Justice Dept. and the Department of Homeland Security characterized libertarians, conservatives and constitutionalists as militia-inspired “domestic extremists” and encouraged scrutiny of “Americans who oppose abortion, illegal immigration and the rapid growth of the government, all of which are views shared by a plurality of Donald Trump supporters.” Yes, as we can see, “extreme” is in the eye of the beholder. And that is what makes the DOJ’s new Domestic Terrorism Counsel cause for concern. ~ Michelle Jesse @ Allen B. West
Doesn't take a genius to read between this administration's Orwellian double-speak. 'Anti-government' means pro-liberty.
Boy, these freaks in the Justice Dept. hate the American people so. Perhaps the rise of these so-called 'anti-government' groups are on their minds because of what they've done, what they're doing and what they still plan to do with our once lawful governmental system? Just a thought...
CNN: Domestic terror groups pose a greater threat to America than ISIS or al Qaeda, a Justice Department official said Wednesday.
To help combat them, the department has created a new counsel that will coordinate the investigation and prosecution of anti-government and hate groups.
Assistant Attorney General John Carlin, who oversees national security at the Justice Department, announced the new position -- the Domestic Terrorism Counsel -- following a number of violent attacks or plots against the U.S. that he said were motivated by "anti-government views, racism, bigotry and anarchy, and other despicable beliefs."
Huh. Switch around the 'anti' to 'pro' in this CNN report and many of those same charges more accurately describe our current Big Government's oppression against the American People to the tee!
As with the modern lib media, the current lawless regime racializes everything, openly promotes the derision of every situation under the sun to the boiling point of anarchical frenzy, and is the epitome of despicable, particularly when it comes to the Left's anti-American beliefs. But you're the problem, ya see.
What was it Mark Levin said….oh yes, that after the midterms Obama would go “full Mussolini” and attempt to do everything with his pen and his phone that he couldn’t do before. Well if this report is true, this is his next step on immigration and it’s a doozy, basically giving illegals the opportunity not only to work in this country, but also apply for welfare. ~ TRS
And who's there to stop him? Democrats support more lawlessness, more chaotic disruption for the party's sake, while Republican quislings feign fear of the pen and phone and accept defeat. So goes the fiddling while Rome is burns, from cronyism and corporatism at the top to welfarism and enslavement at the bottom, erasing the middle...
TheHill: The Obama administration is about to power up a massive new executive action on immigration and it’s far scarier than anyone could have imagined. Last November, when Homeland Security released its ten memos commandeering immigration policy from Congress, Secretary Johnson included a vague plan aimed at benefiting the tech industry, innocuously titled “Modernizing the Employment-Based Immigrant Visa System.” But a secret memo recently leaked on an immigration law blog now reveals that this ‘modernization’ plan will not only fast-track hundreds of thousands of work permits to employment visa-applicants in violation of longstanding U.S. worker protection laws, but will enable hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens to also receive work permits despite their unlawful status. As the full details leak out from the narrow clique of immigration lawyers and lobbyists advising the President, labor advocates are scrambling to warn the public.
Under our current system, most guest workers wishing to remain permanently in the U.S. must arrange for their employer to “sponsor” them by filing an I-140 application, putting them in a queue for a green card. When a temporary (“non-immigrant”) guest worker reaches the front of the immigrant visa queue, they are allowed to submit an application to “adjust” their “status” to that of permanent resident alien. Getting to this stage is key. By regulation an adjustment-of-status applicant automatically receives a coveted work permit or “EAD”.
An EAD allows the alien to work anywhere in the country and apply for welfare. It’s the central reason foreigners line up to come here and it’s what Obama’s attempting to distribute to illegal aliens under the DACA and DAPA programs. And for those on guest-worker visas, EADs allow them to stay in the country even when their “temporary” visa (like an H-1b) runs out. …
Perhaps the most striking part of Obama’s move: illegal aliens will also be able to get EADs. All one needs to file an I-140 petition is an official ID; proving lawful presence isn’t required. The thousands of business-owners around the country who knowingly hire illegal aliens can cynically sponsor petitions whether or not the underlying applicant is legal. Ultimately, the USCIS bureaucrats will reject his or her adjustment-of-status application (after 10 plus years), but they’ll still be able to get that golden EAD.
Unlike the DACA executive amnesty program being challenged in the courts, USCIS is apparently opting to go through the normal regulatory process (although no details are up yet), complete with an opportunity for the public to submit comments. If enough patriotic American workers and their families flood the comment database, the agency may react like the ATF did when their proposed rule banning “green tipped” bullets was deluged with angry comments forcing them to rescind the proposal. If Americans care about their sovereignty like they do about their guns, Obama’s new immigration re-write won’t see the light of day.
As shocking as it is that any department under the Obama regime would actually admit this, it's nonetheless an unavoidable admission, even for a Friday news dump. But you can just about guarantee Obama, Francis nor the mainstream media are available for comment...you know, too busy with climate change, amnesty, moral relativism and other lawless promotions.
TheDC: The U.S. State Department released its annual International Religious Liberty report, and the findings show that Christianity is being targeted around the world.
The State Department cites the Islamic State as one of the worst persecutors of Christians.
“In Mosul, Iraq and nearby towns, shortly after the takeover of the area by militants of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), Christians who had been given the choice to convert, pay a ruinous tax, or die, gathered their families and what few possessions they could carry, and sought all possible means to escape,” the report states. “It has forcibly displaced hundreds of thousands of people, conducted mass executions, and kidnapped, sold, enslaved, raped and/or forcibly converted thousands of women and children—all on the grounds that these people stand in opposition to ISIL’s religious dogma.”
The persecution of Christians is not limited to the Middle East. From Boko Haram’s violence in West Africa to China’s crackdown on the Christian church, the world has become a more dangerous place for those who believe in Christ.
“In the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa, and throughout Asia, a range of non-state actors including terrorist organizations, have set their sights on destroying religious diversity,” the report states.
The extensive Congressional-mandated report examines every nation and non-affiliated groups for their treatment of religious minorities.
“In the report’s Executive Summary, Christians are mentioned 23 times in 6 pages, and they are always cited as victims, never perpetrators, of religious persecution,” Catholic League President Bill Donohue said in a statement.
The report also addressed anti-semitism, which “continued to be a major problem around the globe with increases in anti-Semitic incidents recorded in many countries,” the report states.
The report pointed to Europe as a place of problematic anti-semitism. The report cited the shooting by a French Muslim of the Jewish Museum of Belgium in May of last year.
“The surge in anti-Semitism in Western Europe during 2014 left many pondering the viability of Jewish communities in some countries,” the report states. “Although most anti-Semitic incidents consisted mainly of hate speech and the desecration of institutions, monuments, and cemeteries, others turned violent.”
Though not mentioned, it peaks the curiosity as to what one might learn when turning the research inward? Certainly, the violence hasn't risen to the degree of these blatant examples, yet it's difficult to ignore the rising animosities of an increasingly secularized America. God help all our brethren, here and abroad.
Cruz called last night's Democratic Socialist Party debate like everyone in their right minds, or rather with the common sense the good Lord gave ya, should have been able to distinguish, especially as Americans...
“Last night was an audition for who would wear the jackboot most vigorously!”
"It was interesting for America to see each and every Democratic candidate explain how what we need is an even weaker America."
TheHill: Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) said on Wednesday that he is troubled by the ideas offered during the first Democratic presidential debate.
“It was a recipe to destroy a country,” he told a crowd in Kalona, Iowa, according to The Dallas Morning News.
“It was more socialism, more pacifism, more weakness and less Constitution,” Cruz, who is running for the Republican presidential nomination, said of the Tuesday evening debate in Las Vegas.
“We’re seeing our freedoms taken away, and last night was an audition for who would wear the jackboot most vigorously,” he added. “Last night was an audition for who would embrace government power [and] strip your and my individual liberties.”
Cruz then argued that the Democratic field is not distancing itself from President Obama’s policies.
“Every one of the Democratic candidates is agreed on doubling down on the failed Obama strategies,” he said.
“So it was really quite interesting for America to see each and every Democratic candidate explain how they’re every bit as socialist as [Sen.] Bernie Sanders [I-Vt.] is,” Cruz said.
“It was interesting for America to see each and every Democratic candidate explain how what we need is an even weaker America — [how we should] avoid any conflict whatsoever with Iran, with Russia, with ISIS, with the lunatics who want to kill us,” he said.
Wake up before it's too late, AMERICA! Don't submit to socialism, welfarism and the like when we can do so much better and live so much freer. And here's the guy leading this charge in our modernity.
"Last night's debate, it was more socialism, more pacifism, more weakness, and a whole lot less Constitution."
In 2008, he referred to patriotic, law-abiding Believers as bitter clingers...
"You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them... it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."
It's now 2015, and his tune hasn't changed much at all...
“How do you reconcile the idea of faith being really important to you and you caring a lot about taking faith seriously with the fact that, at least in our democracy and our civic discourse, it seems as if folks who take religion the most seriously sometimes are also those who are suspicious of those not like them?”
Along with the constant coddling of Islam, as well as the most radical corners of any socio-political/religious issue out there really, this says so much more about his disdain for the very Faith he claims to be a part of. How serious is that?
