Spring Cleaning & it's starting to feel like morning in America again...

What a magnificent week of vindication in every respect. Fresh off the Senate's acquittal of the Dems' failed impeachment coup, the President continues to both kick ass abroad...


...and take names here at home!


U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland, who testified about President Trump’s Ukraine dealings during the House impeachment hearings, said Friday he had been recalled from his overseas position, hours after a National Security Council aide who testified against the president was also fired.

Sondland's recall follows the dismissal of another impeachment witness, Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, who was fired by the National Security Council and escorted off of the White House grounds on Friday.
Looks like the Nuge was right all along! Add to that a federal appeals court WIN...
A federal appeals court on Friday unanimously ruled that more than 200 Democratic congressional lawmakers do not have standing to sue President Trump over allegations he violated the Emoluments Clause over foreign payments to his businesses.

 “Because we conclude that the Members lack standing, we reverse the district court and remand with instructions to dismiss their complaint,” the Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit said in its ruling.
...and rolling off the Gipper's birthday, Levin stated it perfectly yesterday: President Trump is politically stronger today than ever, and as a result, it's certainly starting to feel like ‘morning in America again’...

Happy Birthday, President Reagan!

This is anebbandflow's unofficial opening of Presidents' Month, a celebration of our favorite American Presidents, who coincidentally (or Providentially) all have February birthdays, culminating in our national Presidents' Day holiday. We of course start off with the Gipper!
Thursday, Feb. 6, marks the 109th anniversary of President Ronald Wilson Reagan’s birthday, or, as he would have phrased it, the 70th anniversary of his 39th birthday.

Either way, we’re grateful beyond measure for his service to our country, the shining City on a Hill, and his steadfast devotion to American Liberty.

In honor of his birthday, we remember “The Speech” — his 1964 address that vaulted him to national prominence:
"...This idea — that government is beholden to the people, that it has no other source of power, except the sovereign people — is still the newest, most unique idea in all the long history of man’s relation to man. This is the issue of this election: Whether we believe in our capacity for self-government or whether we abandon the American Revolution and confess that a little intellectual elite in a far-distant capital can plan our lives for us better than we can plan them ourselves.

You and I are told increasingly we have to choose between a left or right. Well, I'd like to suggest there is no such thing as a left or right, there's only an up or down: Man's own old-aged dream — the ultimate in individual freedom consistent with law and order — or down to the ant heap of totalitarianism. And regardless of their sincerity, their humanitarian motives, those who would trade our freedom for security have embarked on this downward course."
"The full power of centralized government — this was the very thing the Founding Fathers sought to minimize. They knew that governments don't control things. A government can’t control the economy without controlling people. And they knew when a government sets out to do that, it must use force and coercion to achieve its purpose. Reagan of course concluded that one with the equally famous, “You and I have a rendezvous with destiny.”

Among Reagan's most famous and influential speeches during his presidency were his '86 Challenger Disaster address, '87 "Tear Down This Wall" speech, and '89 Farewell Address to the Nation.

But perhaps more than any other US president, as AEI recalls, "Ronald Reagan had a wonderful sense of humor and he demonstrated his keen wit in many of his public speeches. You can see many great examples of Reagan’s humor in the video below titled “The Best of Reagan.”"



A truly classic American President in both gracefulness and patriotism. THE 20th century President! Happy Heavenly Birthday, President Reagan! Our nation salutes you on this day and misses you immensely.


To honor President Ronald Reagan on the anniversary of his birthday, the President of the United States has designated that a program be held at President Reagan’s Memorial Site at The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library each year.

Next morning & throughout the day: an acquittal celebration

HAHA!!


President Trump proudly displayed two newspapers with blaring “Acquitted” headlines Thursday morning, waving them before a National Prayer Breakfast audience in his first appearance since he was declared not guilty in his Senate impeachment trial.

The president brandished the headlines mere feet from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., after both arrived at the breakfast.


Trump first picked up a USA Today newspaper and presented it before the audience. He then put it down and picked up a copy of Thursday’s Washington Post, which had a similar headline.
He later addressed the audience and took some not-so-subtle swipes at Pelosi once more.

"I don't like people who use their faith as justification for doing what they know is wrong, nor do I like people who say 'I pray for you' when you know that is not so," he said. Pelosi had publicly said during the impeachment process that she and fellow Democrats were "prayerful" and that she prays for the president.

Trump also called impeachment a "terrible ordeal by some very dishonest and corrupt people."

For Trump, the moment was payback not only for impeachment but her conduct at the close of Tuesday's State of the Union address.
I know, shocking that Pelosi would actually even show up for the prayer breakfast...but at least the President served the Speaker a little dessert!

ADDENDUM: Following prayer breakfast comments the morning after his Senate acquittal, President Trump officially addressed the nation, thanking the ‘incredible warriors’ who stood with him through this ‘crooked’ impeachment...
President Donald Trump delivered a speech to the nation Thursday celebrating his impeachment trial acquittal the day before, blasting the process as “crooked” and thanking the “incredible warriors” who sided with him during the ordeal.

Trump described the event as a celebration of another victory over the “evil” forces allied against him.

“Today is the day to celebrate these great warriors, right?” Trump said. “These are great warriors. They really fought hard for us.” The president’s address was populated with Cabinet members and staffers, as well as activists and allies. ...

Trump’s legal team was also present and got a standing ovation. “Great job,” he told them.
“Mitch McConnell, I want to tell you, you did a fantastic job,” he said, praising the Senate Majority Leader for outsmarting his opposition.

“This guy is great,” Trump said. “He’s a tough guy to read… that’s what makes him good.”

“There were some who used religion as a crutch,” Trump said, mocking “failed presidential candidate” Sen. Mitt Romney.

Trump singled out Mike Lee — Romney’s senior colleague representing Utah — for praise, asking him to tell the people of their state “sorry for Mitt Romney.”

He ripped Democrats like House Oversight Chairman Adam Schiff (“a failed screenwriter”) and Speaker Nancy Pelosi (“a horrible person”), mocking the House Speaker’s insistence that she was praying for the president. “I doubt she prays at all,” he said.

Trump denounced the entire process as “crooked politics” from senators who were also running for president in 2020. ...

“It was all bullshit,” Trump said about the “Russia, Russia, Russia” hoax and the Robert Mueller investigation and FBI surveillance. The president mused about whether he should sue former MI6 spy Christopher Steele for the discredited oppo-research dossier which gave cover for federal surveillance of his campaign.

Trump noted that he was under attack from the establishment since the beginning, criticizing several D.C. operatives as “dirty cops,” “leakers,” and “liars.”

At the end of the speech, the president recognized his family for sticking through the process.

“I want to apologize to my family for having them go through a phony rotten deal by some very evil and sick people,” Trump said, singling out Ivanka and Barron Trump. First Lady Melania Trump also joined the president on the stage as the room applauded.

He thanked his family for remaining loyal to him throughout the entire impeachment process.

“They stuck with me and I’m so glad I did it, because we are making progress and we are doing things for our great people,” Trump said.

Epic SOTU address: It's about the American People, stupid!

Last night, President Trump presented not only an epic State of the Union address before Congress highlighting his administration's accomplishments, but many of those accomplishments emphasized the energy behind our exceptional American movement and the quintessential part of what makes our country great, the AMERICAN PEOPLE! Dems reacted about as expected to such a message...
President Donald Trump’s rousing State of the Union address to a divided Congress encouraged his supporters with bold defense of conservative values, overtly reached out to independents on the basis of successful implementation of domestic policy goals, and in so doing enraged the Democrat left on what was already a difficult day for them.

Trump highlighted the booming economy, articulated his foreign policy, and tied his vision for the American future to its heroic past and frontier spirit. He also gave a scholarship in real time, bestowed a Medal of Freedom in real time, and dramatically reunited a family with their soldier husband and father, making for the most emotional State of the Union address since President Reagan first began highlighting American heroes in the gallery during his annual address.
President Trump went into the State of the Union emboldened by his highest voter approval numbers of his presidency. Impeachment led Democratic favorability to decline while Republicans enjoyed majority support for the first time in recent memory. He is about to be acquitted, probably in a bipartisan fashion.

All of those numbers are bad for Pelosi and the Democratic Party she leads. In addition, they had a humiliating debacle of a caucus night in Iowa. The party botched its operation, meaning that the result is still uncertain. But what is known is that the establishment’s favorite candidate, past Vice President Joe Biden, suffered a humiliating finish.

The decision to be hostile throughout the speech caused Democrats to look small and petty, particularly as President Trump spoke of big successes and big goals for the future. Pelosi appeared distracted during the speech, rifling through papers and chomping on her gums. Her ripping stunt at the end of the speech was extremely well received by the media and other partisans on Twitter, but was less likely to play well among average voters.
And as theRightScoop reported this morning, "Pelosi did far more to hurt Democrats last night with her facial expressions and ripping up the SOTU than anything else. So keep up the good work!" The White House and Senate Republicans took note immediately...
As have the American people, even of Independent and Democratic persuasions:
Hey, Dems, NEWSFLASH: It's not about you, it's not about government, it's not even about Trump, it's about the American People, stupid! And this particular President understands that, which is why he's receiving such reciprocal support from Americans en masse.

Prayers for Rush

Shocking news today concerning Limbaugh's health...many prayers headed your way, El Rushbo!
Famed conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh announced on Monday that he has been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer and that he will miss time from the show to receive treatment.

Rush proceeded to share a little about his faith, which was a comfort and blessing to hear. Thus, I share this prayer with him, his wife, his family, friends and audience...
O FATHER of mercies and God of all comfort, our only help in time of need; We humbly beseech thee to behold, visit, and relieve thy sick servant, Rush, for whom our prayers are desired. Look upon him with the eyes of thy mercy; comfort him with a sense of thy goodness; preserve him from the temptations of the enemy; and give him patience under his affliction. In thy good time, restore him to health, and enable him to lead the residue of his life in thy fear, and to thy glory; and grant that finally he may dwell with thee in life everlasting; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Of course they want to get rid of a producer FOR America (and her allies)

We can talk about the Trump Administration's accomplishments since elected, but that'd be far too expansive. How about just focusing on the month of January? No, still too vast a topic. I know, Trump's accomplishments just this week alone!

Trump and Netanyahu unveil Middle East peace plan

And of course it's a pro-Israel plan, and a generous one at that...
The "Deal of the Century" is the biggest diplomatic gift an American administration has ever given to the Jewish state since its founding.

And Israelis received the gift with open hands. The Right appreciated the fact that Israel does not have to uproot the settlements. The Left was satisfied that once again peace is on the nation’s agenda, and both sides were satisfied by the response of the Arab world, which by large, called on the Palestinians to consider the plan as a basis for negotiations.


The plan covers Trump’s vision for Israel and how far the Jewish people have come...
The plan was not a dictate, but rather a framework by which the US hopes it can entice Israel and the Palestinian Authority to come together and negotiate a final status agreement between them.

Israel immediately stated, “If [the Palestinians] agree to abide by all the conditions... in [the] plan, Israel will be there. Israel would be prepared to negotiate peace right away.”

PA President Mahmoud Abbas rejected the plan before it was even announced. The “vision,” however, gives the PA a four-year window to change their mind.

Paving the way for a job market boom!
President Trump signed the historic United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement, replacing the Clinton-era North American Free Trade Agreement that he called a "disaster."

The USMCA, which is the biggest trade deal of all-time, covers more than $1.3 trillion of commerce, and is the second major trade deal secured by the Trump administration this year. The agreement has already been ratified by Mexico, but not yet by Canada.

"You're going to see more jobs all across the economy, in the automobile sector, in the agricultural sector and of course in the energy sector as well," Energy Secretary Dan Brouillette told FOX Business' Maria Bartiromo on Wednesday.


Meanwhile, the Dems continue to bog down DC with their attempted impeachment coup...mind you, of the guy who's working to better our allies and producing for America! Figures. They can't stand seeing us leading and getting ahead in the world.

Trump's legal team wraps up with constitutionality, the Bidens and Dems' own words!

Another round of Trump's exceptional legal team yesterday, too many to highlight (but you can see many of those here). However, I would like to point out a few, starting with Sekulow and Starr (yes, Ken Starr!) picking up where they left off Saturday...







Later, the defense brought in Bondi (and Herschmann) to lay out the actual corruption and cover-up going on that Dems haven't wanted to talk about since the beginning, not of Trump, but of the Bidens!








Under rightful circumstances with an unbiased press, this would be DAMNING for the Bidens...and it should never have taken getting to this point to get there!



And as Herschmann spoke of Dems circling the wagons around Biden, let us circle back to the absurdity of this impeachment articles and their lack of constitutionality, via constitutional scholar Alan Dershowitz.








Speaking of Herschmann earlier, DAMN! Says it all and nails Schifty!


That was the gist of yesterday. I'd encourage everyone to take a closer look through all the defense's highlights if you didn't get an opportunity to watch the proceedings. 

Concluding today, some exceptional comments were made by Philbin and Sekulow on constitutionality versus biases and policy differences, including the President's unprecedented support For Ukraine, while Cipollone effectively wrapped up closing arguments, some of which used the Dem mangers' own words!

Oh, look...after Schifty adequately ticked off Senators last night, Trump's finally given an opportunity to launch a defense this morning, and for the first time since this sham started, mind you. Day 1 out of the gate, the President's legal team NUKES this Democrat coup effort in 90 minutes! Here's a few highlights...
