The Supreme Court on Friday overturned Roe v. Wade, effectively ending recognition of a constitutional right to abortion and giving individual states the power to allow, limit, or ban the practice altogether. This comes after a rare, historic leak to Politico of the court’s draft opinion earlier this year, drawing protests from pro-death activists at the homes of originalist justices and even an assassination attempt against Justice Kavanaugh. Here's the decision that overturns prior Roe and Casey rulings!
The ruling came in the court's opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which centered on a Mississippi law that banned abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy. The Republican-led state of Mississippi asked the Supreme Court to strike down a lower court ruling that stopped the 15-week abortion ban from taking place.
"We end this opinion where we began. Abortion presents a profound moral question. The Constitution does not prohibit the citizens of each State from regulating or prohibiting abortion. Roe and Casey arrogated that authority. We now overrule those decisions and return that authority to the people and their elected representatives," Justice Samuel Alito wrote in the court's opinion.
Also this week, the SCOTUS ruled that states cannot deny public funds to religious schools, that Miranda warnings are just that (the protection, not the right itself), that voter ID laws can be defended, and that conceal-carry is a constitutional right (even in NY). All exceptional rulings, but this one that came today is a real game changer, and God-Willing a course correction for our troubled nation.THE SUPREME COURT HAS OVERTURNED ROE V. WADE, ELIMINATING THE CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO ABORTION.https://t.co/ZNYRs3QnpJ

LIFE, our first Declared unalienable right as an Independent people in a free nation, should always be held sacred. With every indication of the progressive Left's reaction, their violence begets more violence, but this was nonetheless the right and proper call. 63+MILLION pre-born deaths since 1973 (19+MILLION disproportionately from the 14% of our black community by-design) has been cataclysmic for America's culture, and constitutes nothing short of a holocaust.
However divisive and abhorrent, the practice of abortion will still exist. Yet, this ruling now passes the decisions of how that practice is or is not offered back to the States respectively, or to the People, as it should have been all along. And for many of us, our prayer is that this decision effectively ends such a destructive human practice altogether. But for now, on this feast day, ALL Thanks Be to GOD.
Almighty God, who sittest on the throne judging right; we bless and thank thee for the courts of justice in this land that thou gavest them wisdom and understanding to discern the truth, and impartially administer the law in the fear of thee alone. We thank thee for the outcome that they have rendered to preserve the unborn in this land. Give grace to our State Legislatures to preserve the life and liberty of all, and to enact laws upon the best and surest foundations, that peace and happiness, truth and justice, religion and piety, may be established among us for all generations. Through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ do we render our thanks and praise, Amen.H/t: BL
