Apparently, Obama's rainbow matters more than veterans' care...

While insufficient care and waits persisted throughout VA facilities across the country, the administration's fanfare of the day has been how the Pentagon has ended the ban on transgender troops in the military. Hopelessly out of touch. Well here's a couple of story you won't here the media go out of their way to tell Americans who care about their soldiers. First, the VA's suicide hotline is failing veterans in crisis...
USAToday: More than a third of troubled veterans are not getting through to the best trained suicide-hotline staffers because of poor work habits at the Department of Veteran's Affairs' call center, according to VA emails obtained by USA TODAY.

Some workers handle only one to five calls each day and leave before their shifts end even though phone lines have gotten busier, the emails say. As a result, 35% to 50% of the calls roll over to back-up centers where workers have less training to deal with the emotional problems of former servicemembers.
Secondly, it looks like the VA is now colluding with unions to rally against reform!
FreeBeacon: An official at a Department of Veterans Affairs hospital is helping the largest federal employee union oppose efforts to reform the agency’s network of hospitals.

The public affairs officer at the Cheyenne VA Medical Center in Wyoming has advertised a rally organized by the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) next week to protest recommendations made by members of an independent commission that would overhaul VA healthcare, according to internal communications obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.
Shameful. But, no, we gotta celebrate military transgenderism. What the hell that ailment has to do with serving and securing our nation is anyone's guess. Another politically correct PR stunt from the Obama administration to further degrade the most powerful military force in the world while ignoring the real needs of our veterans would be my best guess.

Cruz GRILLS Homeland Security Secretary over purge of radical Islamic references

"Johnson knows exactly what they have been doing at the DHS; he’s the one giving the orders to scrub all references from manuals and documents." ~ Mark Levin
Thursday morning, Ted Cruz grilled DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson on the purge of any radical Islamic references from Homeland Security records, as well as how they continue missing red flags in identifying Muslim jihadists (try not to jump through your monitor listening to the BS pouring out of another pathetic Obama puke!)...

TRS: Pathetic. If they were really doing a better job, then how is it they missed the Muslim Orlando shooter who massacred 50 people, whose own father is a Taliban sympathizer?

Just as Cruz pointed out, they keep missing these guys and chalk it up to lessons learned, when the reason they are missing them is because of the top-down political correctness imposed by the president in order to protect Islam.
Without doubt, this guy is just as treasonous as his boss and all the rest of the cronies. 'How' and 'Why' America?
"An Orwellian double-think that seeks to excerpt any reference of radical Islamic terrorism is counterproductive to keeping this country safe."
"There was a time when we had men like General Patton who wanted to defeat the enemy. Instead, today, we get lectures from President Obama on soul searching when we are attacked. It’s liberals like Obama and AG Loretta Lynch that are holding our military back and preventing us from defeating these Islamo-Nazi throwbacks from the 7th century. We can beat them, but these pathetic politicians won’t let us beat them!" ~ ML, 6/29/16

Free Trade vs. Tariffs: A YUGE difference between Farage and Trump...

Here's a leader who knows what he's talking about, understanding the dangers of tariffs and the benefits of free trade...take note when Farage suggests a 'tariff-free deal' how the European socialists scoff.
CR: Brexit architect and UK Independence Party leader Nigel Farage was enjoying the spotlight at European Parliament Tuesday, as a he told a jeering crowd that he now has had the last laugh. Farage took the moment to preach the benefits of free trade, and to warn the EU of the cost of cutting off trade partnerships with the UK.

“We – between your countries and my country – do an enormous amount of business in goods and services. That trade is mutually beneficial to both of us. That trade matters.”

“If you were to decide to cut off your noses, to spite your faces, and to reject any idea of a sensible trade deal, the consequences would be far worse for you than it would be for us,” Farage told a scoffing crowd of MEPs.

And here's one who doesn't know history much less what the hell he's talking about. On the contrary, he's mimicking Hillary Clinton!
"We have a battle within the Republican Party between those who believe in liberty, property rights and capitalism, and progressive populists dressing themselves up as nationalists. Free market capitalism is the way up the ladder to success and offers Americans jobs and opportunity. Protectionism and tariffs are a great way to destroy the economy and empower bureaucrats." ~ Mark Levin, 6/27/16
CR: Donald Trump gave a major "economic freedom" speech Tuesday in Pennsylvania during which he touted tariffs and protectionism while blasting free trade.

Mark Levin has denounced Trump's phony "America First" trade policy before and didn't hold back Tuesday night on his radio program either. Levin compared Trump's speech to one that could've been given by the likes of Herbert Hoover or Pat Buchanan.

Even worse, Levin said "Trump is mimicking Hillary Clinton" with his trade and economic policies, who in turn "is mimicking Bernie Sanders." That's why Trump continues to reach out to Sanders supporters, Levin suggests, because his views on trade are actually similar to that off of the democratic-socialist.

On Tuesday’s Mark Levin show, Donald Trump gave a speech that could’ve been given by the likes of Herbert Hoover or Pat Buchanan. Trump was cherry picking quotes from the Founding Fathers and Lincoln to support his tariff policy. All tariffs will do is to create more government and more centralization. Why not trade tariffs for the federal income tax? But not tariffs on top on income taxes. Trump is now mimicking Hillary Clinton with his trade and economic policies, who in turn is mimicking Bernie Sanders. That’s why Trump continues to reach out to Sanders supporters because his views on trade are actually similar to that of the democratic-socialist. In addition, countries have the capacity to retaliate and they did 85 years ago against Smoot-Hawley. The result was devastating and should be proof enough that tariffs will not help the average blue collar worker but harm them. They are a tax on the working man and woman. Also, Reagan policies resulted in the greatest burst of economic growth post Industrial Revolution, not protectionism. Trump is not going to bring jobs back to America through protectionist policies. Trump is a Herbert Hoover, Hillary Clinton protectionist tariff guy.
"It was fitting that Donald Trump appeared to be standing in front of a mess of commingled recycled trash while he delivered his trade policy speech. Because his plan appears mostly recycled from the platform of Hillary Clinton." ~ Amanda Carpenter
Amazing how one outspoken voice in Europe promotes moving out of the socialism that's crippled the Old World for decades, while another here at home works towards introducing the New World to the same trash heap...

SCOTUS concocts another phony protection for abortion

"To begin, the very existence of this suit is a jurisprudential oddity. Ordinarily, plaintiffs cannot file suits to vindicate the constitutional rights of others. But the Court employs a different approach to rights that it favors. So in this case and many others, the Court has erroneously allowed doctors and clinics to vicariously vindicate the putative constitutional right of women seeking abortions." ~ Justice Clarence Thomas's dissent
"Today’s decision will prompt some to claim victory, just as it will stiffen opponents’ will to object. But the entire Nation has lost something essential. The majority’s embrace of a jurisprudence of rights-specific exceptions and balancing tests is “a regrettable concession of defeat—an acknowledgement that we have passed the point where ‘law,’ properly speaking, has any further application."" ~ Justice Thomas's conclusion, quoting the late Justice Scalia
The culture of death drags on. On Monday, the Supreme Court ruled against pro-life protections, taking the Left's abortion zeal to a new level...
CR: In the most consequential abortion decision since 1992, the Supreme Court struck down a Texas law regulating the public safety of abortion clinics. In a 5-3 decision with Justice Breyer writing for the majority in Whole Woman's Health v. Hellerstedt, the high court reversed the Fifth Circuit and invalidated Texas’s HB 2, which required abortion clinics to meet the health standards for ambulatory surgical centers and required doctors at the facilities to have admissions privileges at a hospital within 30 miles.

After concocting a Fourteenth Amendment right to an abortion at almost any stage out of whole cloth in Roe v.Wade and Casey, the court now holds that any basic, prudent and clearly constitutional state regulation addressing safety concerns at abortion facilities that in any way results in a decrease in the number of abortions performed is “unconstitutional.”
Levin briefly discussed how despicable this decision was...
"Five justices on the Supreme Court decided against the state of Texas regarding abortion clinics. Apparently, to these justices it was too much of a burden for Texas to be requiring abortion clinics to meet the same standards as other surgical centers and also have a relationship with a nearby hospital."

Folks, God's judgment will continue on this land, until...
"If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land." ~ 2 Chronicles 7:14
Which is why we must implore and employ strong voices like this to continue the fight!
“The Supreme Court’s ruling in Whole Woman’s Health v. Hellerstedt is profoundly disappointing. Texas enacted HB 2’s commonsense health standards to ensure that women receive safe care. Unfortunately, the Supreme Court sided with abortion extremists who care more about providing abortion-on-demand than they do protecting women’s health. This decision will not silence our fight to protect the most helpless and innocent among us, nor will we cease our efforts to protect women from an abortion industry that prioritizes profit margins over improving the safety and health of Texas women. We will continue to stand resolutely to defend unborn life because we know that every life is a gift from God, and without life there is no liberty.” ~ Ted Cruz
Related link: The Gosnell case: Here’s what you need to know

ADDENDUM: Inadvertently, Justice Stephen Breyer's argument for abortion makes an equally compelling one against gun control!
"But there is no reason to believe that an extra layer of regulation would have affected that behavior. Determined wrongdoers, already ignoring existing statutes and safety measures, are unlikely to be convinced to adopt safe practices by a new overlay of regulations."
Of course, they'll claim a double-standard in that case, which is precisely what's wrong with allowing a majority of five oligarchs to legislate from the bench on a whim for hundreds of millions of Americans.

ADDENDUM II: Then today, the Court failed to protect religious liberty AGAIN...
CR: Just when you thought the term was over for the Supreme Court, there is more bad news emanating from the strongest branch of government today. The Supreme Court failed to grant cert to a group of pharmacists targeted by an anti-religious mandate on their private business forcing them to sell abortifacients.

As I’ve noted throughout this term, the Supreme Court has spoken as much through its opinions as it has by letting terrible lower court decisions stand without hearing an appeal. The lower courts are even worse than the Supreme Court and are constantly invalidating religious liberty protection laws in red states and upholding anti-religious bigotry in blue states. ...

What this case and the numerous cases involving the Obamacare birth control mandate demonstrate is that almost every circuit court no longer believes in religious liberty, in line with five justices on the Supreme Court. We will never be able to rely on the federal courts to protect religious liberty. They can only be a liability in striking down good laws that are in compliance with the Constitution.

#Brexit accomplished! England claims independence from EU

Free people, take note. It's taken our mother country to go through it to now understand. June 23rd marks a new Independence Day for England...

"Honesty, decency and belief in nation I think now is going to win!" ~ Nigel Farage

...and Cameron steps down...Cheers!
Britain Prime Minister David Cameron announced Friday morning that he plans on stepping down from his position after the country voted to leave the European Union. Cameron said a new prime minister would be in place by the Conservative Party Conference, which begins October 2. ~ Bret Baier
As the English lead the way out of indebted and devalued EU entanglement and degraded rule, the question begs who's next?
“The British people have spoken clearly: They choose to leave the European Union. The results of the ‘Brexit’ referendum should serve as a wake-up call for internationalist bureaucrats from Brussels to Washington, D.C. that some free nations still wish to preserve their national sovereignty. The British people have indicated that they will no longer outsource their future to the EU, and prefer to chart their own path forward. The United States can learn from the referendum and attend to the issues of security, immigration and economic autonomy that drove this historic vote. In addition, we should treat the ‘Brexit’ as an opportunity to forge a closer partnership with our historic friend and ally, including immediately starting negotiations for a targeted US-UK free trade agreement.” ~ Ted Cruz

Rebuked! Obama’s illegal executive amnesty hits wall in SCOTUS

“Today’s Supreme Court decision is a victory for the rule of law. As the Washington Post rightly noted, ‘the action deals Obama perhaps the biggest legal loss of his presidency.’ By trying to unilaterally grant amnesty to nearly five million people, President Obama invited even more illegal immigration, which in turn undermines our security and drives down the wages of Americans across our nation. No President has the authority to rewrite the law or ignore our immigration laws, and the Court’s rejection of Obama’s executive amnesty is a powerful rebuke of this administration’s lawlessness. I salute Texas for leading 26 states in securing this important victory for our Constitution and for our sovereignty.” ~ Ted Cruz
This could have gone terribly wrong, particularly with the untimely demise of Scalia. However, this was the outcome we'd at the very least hoped for...for the Rule of Law's sake!
TheResurgent: The Supreme Court deadlocked today in a 4-4 decision over the DAPA program. That’s President Obama’s illegal overreach of executive authority to grant amnesty.

A federal district court in Texas had enjoined the President from enforcing his order. An appellate court affirmed that decision. And now a 4-4 decision by the Supreme Court means the district court ruling is upheld.

Executive amnesty dies. The only thing really unbelievable here is that the Supreme Court was not 8-0 in favor of the lower court. It should have been.
From a clown-frown to a cheerful laugh on high, it's not off-base to believe Providence shined through on this one...

Concession: While Dems politicize terrorism with 'gun control'

Why is it that politicians, particularly of the Democratic persuasion, desire the politicization of, well, everything?! The latest is not new. Murder, terrorism, no matter...they politicize tragedy for one goal: to achieve an agenda. What's the agenda? It's about more than mere 'gun control' I can assure you. It's about our subservience. At what cost? Surrender, both personally and nationally. Just as long as the Ruling Class exists to maintain power. After all, they matter more than a free people. And they'll keep us safe somehow, right? This is the tyranny from within that's defeating us...
TheResurgent: Barack Obama has failed as President and last night the Democrats admitted it. The terrorists have beaten us. Staging a sit in on the floor of the House of Representatives and shouting down Speaker Paul Ryan, Democrats demanded that our constitutional rights be curtailed in the name of keeping us safe from terrorists. During the Bush Administration, the Democrats claimed any curtailing of our rights meant the terrorists won. Now, after Orlando, the Democrats are willing to shut down the House of Representatives in order to ensure our constitutional rights get revoked.

Even the far left ACLU opposes the Democrats’ plan as an encroachment on liberty. The leading Congressman supporting taking away our constitutional rights was himself improperly put on a no-fly list. But it does not matter. Congressman John Lewis of Georgia, who marched in the streets for civil rights, is now comfortably in power and wants to take away our constitutional rights without due process. ...

The Democrats are conceding that Barack Obama’s policies have failed and the terrorists have won. By their own standard from the Bush era, they now want to curtail our constitutional rights because they are scared and admit neither their President nor their god Uncle Sam can keep them safe. But they’ll be damned if you are allowed to keep yourself safe.

Democrats Surrender and Declare Victory Like They’re French

Why so many politicians are in favor of disarming the American public over ensuring our inalienable rights, particularly in regards to saving innocent people's lives, is a conversation the Ruling Class doesn't want to discuss. It's as if Democrats would rather defend the Constitution for terrorists over the citizenry while simultaneously trashing it for American gun owners...
TheResurgent: Back in January, when Sen. Ted Cruz was a presidential candidate, he introduced S.247, the Expatriate Terrorist Act, which has all but died in committee. The ACLU and other liberal organizations decried this as trampling the 14th Amendment and “due process.” Yet despite the ACLU opposing using terror “watchlists” to deny gun purchases, Democrats want to press forward with squashing that particular Constitutional right.

Cruz’s bill would amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to clarify what expresses an American citizen’s “intent” to relinquish American citizenship. For example, pledging allegiance to ISIS, or going overseas and meeting with terrorists, or supporting them financially. ...

Back in January, liberals trashed Cruz and S.247, saying it “would allow bureaucrats to strip citizenship from U.S. citizens on the dangerously vague grounds of ‘assistance’ to a terrorist group.” But they are A-okay with the same bureaucrats stripping Second Amendment and Sixth Amendment rights from law-abiding citizens so those who assist terrorists can be protected.

Those lawmakers who are camped out on the floor of the House of Representatives, singing Kumbayah and eating smores (or checking Twitter) are hypocrites to the core. They don’t care about American citizens’ rights. They care about politics and looking like they’re some kind of revolutionaries. They are fools.
This same patriot that should be our presidential nominee is holding a hearing next week on the Obama administration's cover-up or 'willful blindness' of radical Islamic terrorism. Knowing the way the political winds blow, I wouldn't be at all surprised if McConnell adjourned the Senate until after the holiday, thus postponing this much more important inquiry than a Dem sit-in.

In Denial of Truth: on terrorism and guns

"Since 9/11, we have had 28,135 terrorist attacks committed by Islamic jihadists that have occurred around the world. We know what the problem is, we’re just afraid to say it.

Terrorist activity is on the rise, and President Barack Obama chooses to close his eyes and put his fingers in his ears.

This blatant disregard for our country’s safety is inadmissible, yet U.S. citizens still blindly follow this failed and egocentric leadership. As Americans, we need to wake up and acknowledge the dismal reality: as long as Obama is in office, ISIS is winning. Each time our president pleas for gun control as a remedy to these vicious attacks, ISIS wins. Each time Obama refuses to utter the words “radical Islamic terrorism,” ISIS wins. The longer we stand by and refuse to accept we are at war with a relentless enemy, ISIS wins." ~ Brigitte Gabriel, 6/14/16
The Orlando attack has yet to be added to the growing world map of global ISIS-inspired attacks, and it's unfortunate that it probably won't be the last as Ramadan just began...
CNN: The deadliest terrorist attack on U.S. soil since 9/11 followed a clarion call by ISIS to its supporters in the United States to launch attacks during Ramadan, the Islamic Holy Month, which started last week.

In an audio recording released on May 21, ISIS spokesman Abu Mohammed al Adnani called for "a month of hurt" in the United States as well as Europe.

His message to ISIS sympathizers like Orlando shooter Omar Mateen: Stay home and kill anybody, anyhow, anywhere.
Terrorists among us are planning their next attack in America, and while there seems to be questions about how to handle those on America's terrorist watch list, it's undeniable that these horrific massacres are the price we pay for not destroying ISIS...
TheFederalist: In the wake of the Orlando terrorist attack, which left 50 dead and for which ISIS claimed responsibility on Sunday, there’s one question we probably will not debate seriously: whether we should return to the Bush doctrine and shut down terrorist safe havens overseas, and specifically whether we should deploy troops to the Middle East to destroy ISIS.

Instead, gun control and anti-gay bigotry will be the going concerns, especially among our liberal and media elite in the days ahead, just as they were in the hours after the attack. Partisans on the Left believe they can bend those aspects to their advantage in domestic political battles, and that’s what they’ll talk about.

Indeed, it only took President Barack Obama a few minutes in his remarks Sunday afternoon to suggest that one of the proper responses to Orlando would be to pass stricter gun-control measures. This is one of the president’s favorite talking points after a “mass shooting,” regardless of who does the shooting or why. It matters little that the shooter, Omar Mateen, was armed with firearms he appears to have acquired legally, or that he was a licensed security guard and thus wasn’t the type of person who would be denied a firearm even under a far stricter gun control regime.

No matter. We will hear more about gun control. But we won’t hear the president announce a new foreign policy to defeat ISIS because on a fundamental level Obama think these kinds of terrorist attacks are an acceptable price to pay for American nonintervention in the Middle East.
Yet the cult of Obama is fervently committed to denial...
Breitbart: As we stand by and quarrel amongst ourselves about trivial matters, the true foe is systematically devising our extermination. We are hated in the name of ideology while our government claims the solution is nested in more gun control. They are convinced we should “kill ‘em with kindness” as our opposition LITERALLY kills us. ISIS law does not recognize morality or ethics in any form, so why should we feel obligated to welcome such malice into our civilized society?

However, our commander-in-chief did not stealthily worm his way into the oval office by circumstance, he was elected by the vast majority. Twice. Removing one subversive ringleader from authority is not a cure-all for the underlying problem; it is correcting this absurd PC culture as a whole. We have allowed this perspective, constructed solely upon subjectivity and emotion, to reign supreme in a dog-eat-dog world. Battling immoral savages with tolerance and benevolence is a recipe for disaster.

The Obama administration has planted the seed that political correctness should guide significant cultural decisions. Unfortunately, these seeds have sprouted into poisonous weeds that will only choke our very freedom. We must learn from history instead of ignoring the warning signs in fear of being labeled “Islamophobes.” We cannot back down from our American principles that made us who we are. A proud patriot is the most gratifying title an American can attain, and if that means being called a bigot, then we must wear that badge with pride too. Liberty is our greatest asset, so let’s stand up for America before there isn’t one to stand up for.
Even Hillary's fundraising off the Orlando attack! No decency.

But with continued stupidity abound in the Democratic press, the above is a concerted attempt to bring the reader out of the denial in what we face against terrorism, just as the below is meant to educate on another misconception...

The USA has, by far, the highest per capita gun ownership in the world. Progressives will tell you that this is what makes America the Murder Capitol of Planet Earth. But we're not, and in this devastatingly effective Firewall, Bill Whittle shows why the center of Gun Nut Nation is in fact one of the safest places in the world.
Yet all we see and hear are the continued, misguided distractions: Democratic disruptions and filibusters, gun control compromises and other agreements with a feckless GOP, Trump and the NRA, moderating, not moderating, none of which would have stopped this latest jihadi. While I would confide that perhaps there should be some reasonable middle ground between Feinstein's ban and Cornyn's delay, we mustn't allow this distraction to take center stage. Instead, how about turning the focus away from the political gamesmanship to the genuine issue at hand?
RedState: After this past weekend’s terrorist attack/mass shooting in Orlando, the usual suspects (Democrats) began the drumbeat for gun control afresh.

This limp-wristed, knee-jerk reaction to every gun tragedy is not without an ultimate goal. No, it’s not to prevent more gun deaths. A populace disarmed is a populace in chains. Democrats know this.

On the Senate floor today, Senator Cruz took the Democrats to task.
"This week played out all too predictably... This is political distraction; this is political gamesmanship. And I think the American people find it ridiculous... this is not a gun-control issue. This is a terrorism issue."

And I have to add, the unwillingness of the Democrats to observe a moment of silence for Orlando’s victims, choosing instead to act as the unwashed mob and shout about their agenda instead shows how low Democrats have sunk. There is a time to talk business, but sometimes, decency dictates you make those small shows of unity.
Why is it so hard for our supposed leaders to secure the liberties of our citizenry by foremost defeating our enemies? In either regard, it's unfortunate, but I fear they'd rather deny us liberty and victory over securing or leading.
"President Obama is responsible for ensuring American’s safety, and protecting the Bill of Rights and Constitution. Instead of doing this, Obama is campaigning against Americans and the Second Amendment. ... Who will defend the Bill of Rights? Right now it’s not Mitch McConnell, Donald Trump, or the Democrats, but it is Ted Cruz." ~ Mark Levin, 6/16/16

"The radical Muslim and mass murderer, Omar Mateen, received full background checks for a security contractor position and passed. He was also placed on an FBI watch list and then removed. The whole notion that a watch list would have stopped this guy while the FBI had a file on him is ridiculous. Ironically, Matten was rejected for body armor but approved for more weapons." ~ ML, 6/16/16
Picking up from that, these next few bits of info show just how utterly ineffective and incompetent our federal Leviathan has become in the singular job of protecting its citizenry and nation...

Cruz, Levin on the TRUTH of Orlando...

There's been A LOT of noise out there since the Orlando terrorist attack over the weekend. Here's the only sensible, reasonable clarity that I've actually heard articulated over the past few days:

First from Cruz on Sunday...
TedCruz: U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) today issued the following statement in response to Saturday night’s horrific attack at the hands of a radical Islamic terrorist in Orlando:
“Our nation is at war. From 9/11 to the Boston Marathon, from Fort Hood to Chattanooga, from San Bernardino to last night’s horrific attack in Orlando, radical Islamic terrorism has declared jihad on America,” Sen. Cruz said. “Early reports indicate the Orlando terrorist had pledged his allegiance to ISIS, and he had previously been investigated by the FBI. And yet, as with the prior attacks, we were not able to act to stop this act of vicious terrorism that has now murdered 50 and injured more than 50 others.

“Our hearts go out to those killed and wounded last night. Our prayers are with their families, and with all their grieving loved ones.

“It is a time for action. We need a Commander in Chief who will speak the truth, and who will unleash the full force and fury of the American military to utterly destroy ISIS and its affiliates. We need to pass the Expatriate Terrorist Act, so that known ISIS terrorists cannot use U.S. passports to return to America and wage jihad. We need a President who is serious – who will identify the enemy by name and do everything necessary to defeat it.

“The next few days will be sadly predictable. Democrats will try to use this attack to change the subject. As a matter of rigid ideology, far too many Democrats – from Barack Obama to Hillary Clinton – will refuse to utter the words ‘radical Islamic terrorism.’ They will claim this attack, like they claimed every previous attack, was isolated and had nothing to do with the vicious Islamist theology that is daily waging war on us across the globe. And they will try to exploit this terror attack to undermine the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms of law-abiding Americans.

“Enough is enough. What we need is for every American – Democrat and Republican – to come together, abandon political correctness, and unite in defeating radical Islamic terrorism.

“ISIS doesn’t just target soldiers. They don’t just target Republicans. Or Jews. They also target Christians and fellow Muslims. They target each and every one of us. As we saw this morning, they target the gay and lesbian community. Their objective, which they broadcast worldwide, is to murder or forcibly convert every single American.

“For all the Democrats who are loud champions of the gay and lesbian community whenever there is a culture battle waging, now is the opportunity to speak out against an ideology that calls for the murder of gays and lesbians. ISIS and the theocracy in Iran (supported with American taxpayer dollars) regularly murder homosexuals, throwing them from buildings and burying them under rocks. This is wrong, it is evil, and we must all stand against it. Every human being has a right to live according to his or her faith and conscience, and nobody has a right to murder someone who doesn’t share their faith or sexual orientation. If you’re a Democratic politician and you really want to stand for LGBT, show real courage and stand up against the vicious ideology that has targeted our fellow Americans for murder.

“Today, all of America stands in solidarity with the people of Orlando. All of us should lift them up in prayer, demand action, and if you have any information about the Orlando shooter or potential radical Islamic terror plots, please act to keep us safe by using the FBI tips website: https://tips.fbi.gov.”

Then from Levin on Monday...
On Monday’s Mark Levin show, President Obama has no problem attacking Republicans or corporations by name, but when it comes to the greatest threat we face, Islamic terrorism, he won’t call by its name. Obama is the wrong man in office at the wrong time and is ideologically incapable of protecting the country. The best way to deal with this threat is to acknowledge it and destroy the enemy. In addition, Obama has disarmed this country when it comes to military and law enforcement. Their hands are tied by purposeful ignorance and leftist idealism. After that, the FBI left stones unturned when it came to preventing this mass shooting in Orlando. The terrorist, Omar Mateen, was interviewed by the FBI in 2013 and was on a terror watch list. However, the FBI cleared him and he was able to purchase guns. Later, we now have creeping Sharia law in this country. Free speech, non-islamic religions and gays are under attack by radical Islamists. Finally, John Lott, President of Crime Prevention Research calls in discuss the shooting which occurred in another gun-free zone.

ADDENDUM: ...and Tuesday...
On Tuesday’s Mark Levin show, President Obama is now showing his anger – not to the radical Islamic terrorists – but to law-abiding American citizens. He really shows his anger when he’s attacking Americans, but when it comes to the enemy he’s very monotone and soft-spoken. After three speeches following the Orlando terror attack, Obama has not once united the American people. Instead we get lectures about Islam and gun control. Also, the fact that Republicans can’t respond to Obama is appalling. There is not a leader among the so called leaders including Mitch McConnell. The only time they get angry is when they are attacking Ted Cruz. Later, there was a 6 month period in 2011, where Iraqi’s were prevented by the Obama Administration from coming into the U.S. because of terrorism. Now Obama considers this racist, but this is really about preserving the country not racism.

ADDENDUM II: More from Sen. Cruz on Thursday (H/t: CR)...
"This week played out all too predictably... This is political distraction; this is political gamesmanship. And I think the American people find it ridiculous... this is not a gun-control issue. This is a terrorism issue."

The unshocking Obama/Sanders/Clinton choreography

See how that worked? Lawless Democrats beget lawlessness, and they always coalesce, but not without the fan dance!

First, Bernie meets with Obama and pledges to work with Hillary to defeat Trump...
NYT: Senator Bernie Sanders met with President Obama on Thursday and said afterward that he would do everything within his power to stop Donald J. Trump from becoming president — and would work closely with Hillary Clinton to make that happen.

Next, Barack Obama endorses Hillary Clinton hours after meeting with Bernie Sanders...
Telegraph: President Barack Obama formally endorsed Hillary Clinton to succeed him as president of the United States, calling her the most qualified person ever for the job.

Nevermind he actually cut the video on TUESDAY. Remember, it's all about choreography...which also follows the logic of this next maneuver.

After trotting Josh NOT-Earnest out to talk up Obama's endorsement of Hillary, the spokes-idiot bumbled with a Freudian slip that admitted Hillary's email investigation is criminal! (h/t: RedState)...

"And that's why the President when discussing this issue in each stage has reiterated his commitment to this principle that any criminal investigation should be conducted independent of any sort of political interference and that people should be treated the same way before the law regardless of their political influence, regardless of their political party, regardless of their political stature and regardless of what political figure has endorsed them."

The remedy: After endorsing Hillary (and after this press snafu), Obama immediately meets with AG Loretta Lynch. Huh...wonder why? </sarcasm>
Townhall: Earlier today President Obama officially endorsed Democrat presumptive nominee Hillary Clinton for President. In an endorsement video released by the Clinton campaign, Obama made it clear he wants Clinton to win the White House in order to preserve his legacy. White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest also made this point clear during the daily briefing.

Shortly after the endorsement was made, President Obama met with Attorney General Loretta Lynch this afternoon in the Oval Office. The meeting was closed to the press.

Lynch, of course, will ultimately make the decision as to whether Clinton will be prosecuted should the FBI issue an indictment surrounding her use of a private email server to store and transfer top secret, classified information.

In order for Clinton to carry Obama's torch, she has to stay out of prison. In order to do that, she has to avoid prosecution. I'm sure Obama made that very clear to his somewhat new Attorney General.
I'd say that's crystal clear. She's walking to keep Obama's legacy intact. This is what happens when the Executive branch flies supreme and constitutionality is not practiced, demanded nor upheld by the other branches or our government in total. This is not reflective of a constitutional republic nor a democracy, but the empty shell of one.

Gary Johnson doesn't deserve conservatives' support

A final word about the Libertarian Party and their YUGE convention mistake in not selecting Austin Petersen...
TheResurgent: Libertarian Party presidential nominee Gary Johnson made an appearance yesterday on “Meet the Press,” and viewers frankly might be forgiven for thinking that the spacey Johnson was high on some of the very marijuana from which he has previously profited. Nonetheless, in the aftermath of last night’s revelation that constitutional lawyer and National Review columnist David French will not be accepting Bill Kristol’s plea to seek the presidency, Johnson and his running mate Bill Weld will probably get a second look from many avowed #NeverTrump-ers.

Johnson, like most people I bump into at the local grocery store—and probably also like that proverbial flaming bag of dog feces—indeed almost certainly represents a superior vote to either of the brutally corrupt, positively immoral jokesters that the two major political parties are set to nominate. But to cast a vote—and especially a more symbolic vote for a third-party option whose path to success would depend on sending the election to the U.S. House of Representatives, pursuant to the Twelfth Amendment, for the first time since 1824—is to cast a moral judgment, and as an ex-Cruz supporting #NeverTrump constitutional conservative, I will not be voting for Gary Johnson this November. There are at least four reasons why.
For brevity's sake, here's a more summurized versions of those reasons:
  1. Gary Johnson’s Foreign Policy is Clueless and/or Terrifying.
  2. "[On World War I,] Johnson could have made a great critique of liberal internationalism with direct relevance for today. As for not entering World War II after Pearl Harbor? ‘I don’t know’ is pretty lame, unless you wish to develop the critique that we provoked Japan and/or pursued the imprudent war aim of unconditional surrender. That case is not very persuasive, but it isn’t frivolous." ~ Steven Hayward, PowerLine
  3. Johnson and Weld are Socially Liberal Republicans, not Principled Libertarians.
  4. "In many ways, the culture of contemporary Libertarianism already feels inhospitable to conservative Americans—and I mean ‘conservative’ in its purest form. Contemporary Libertarianism often has an urban and secular sensibility that radiates disdain for religious Americans and traditionalists. Johnson, in fact, embraces non-libertarian ideas just to appeal to people who share this disdain…

As I’ve argued before, one day evangelicals will have to come to terms with public policy that allows others to engage in activities they find morally disagreeable. But asking them to support a party whose candidate advocates forcing them to do things they find morally disagreeable is another thing entirely. By doing exactly that, Johnson and Weld…have made it impossible for many social conservatives to consider their party. It’s needlessly antagonistic—or, more likely, purposefully adversarial." ~ David Harsanyi, TheFederalist
  5. The Right to Life Issue.
  6. Gary Johnson has proffered a jurisprudential belief in the legal wrongness of Roe v. Wade, but he and Bill Weld are still themselves vehement pro-choicers. The Libertarian Party had a chance to nominate (nominally) pro-life candidate Austin Petersen, but they went instead with Johnson, who touts the modern Democratic Party’s usual “pro-choice up until viability” party line.

I’m frankly not sure what it is about eschewing the harm principle for an entire class of human beings that makes these pro-choice libertarians think they are in the right and virtually every notable elected libertarian of the past few decades—from pro-lifers Ron and Rand Paul to Justin Amash to Thomas Massie—in the wrong...
  7. Complete Tone-Deafness on Illegal Immigration.
  8. CNN: Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson said Monday he ‘absolutely’ stands by his preferred running mate’s comment comparing Donald Trump’s immigration plan to Nazi Germany…

‘I can hear the glass crunching on Kristallnacht in the ghettos of Warsaw and Vienna when I hear (Trump’s plan), honest,’ Weld told the [New York] Times.

The 1938 pogrom against European Jewry occurred when anti-semitic mobs burned synagogues, destroyed Jewish-owned stores and killed scores of Jews, but not in Warsaw, as stated by Weld…

‘It reminds me of Anne Frank hiding in her attic waiting for the Nazi sirens to pass by and evokes the memory—not the memory, I was not alive, but the notion of Kristallnacht,’ [Weld] said.
So, I'll be joining Mr. Hammer in saying that 'I’m out on the Libertarian Party.' However, while I'm on board with a Ted Cruz write-in campaign, I'd also give the Constitution Party more consideration than this writer alots. After all, this sole principled party still has the only principled nominee in this race.
